Good signing for Cardiff if true. Might do well for them and if he does he can move up in the world after getting some Prem game time.
I hate Gomis* but he's a decent enough player for Cardiff or Swansea.
*Back in FIFA '10 I was in the middle of a Virtual Pro career, the club dropped the leagues top scorer who I was racking up the assists with and signed Gomis who stole penalty kicks off me and literally missed 10 penalties in a row. He also never scored and was selfish and shit.

To be fair I never understood the senseless abuse some people get on twitter. This kid is likely a bullshitter but in that case just don't follow him or pay him any attention. Some people just want confrontation. You can hardly blame him for deleting abusive responses. Why would he keep them up?
