Well, last year he asked Scholes and Giggs how they'd feel about us signing Van Persie. I think it's the case that he's a senior player who is very much entitled to a say. And he'd be one to speak for the team too and his opinion on how any player would fit into the current set up , not just a match team but training etc.
I feel we need to re-introduce the unwritten rule about not posting tweets from obvious bullshitters. Yes, journos post a lot of crap as well, but they at least have a smudge of credibility compared to a 17 year old boy who calls himself MrInTheKnow or some equally obvious bullshit name.
It would make sense to ask him, I guess. Obviously he can't have knowledge of how all potential targets would fit in here, but if he's familiar with them, like he was with van Persie, he could give some input.

I agree with top, I said as much yesterday. Look at KM's opening post compared to all the tweets that gets posted. In fact didnt someone say yesterday that inside news or whatever it was deletes 90% of his tweets but his tweets still get posted in here. Or was that someone else?

I would be quite happy if we just signed Thiago and that's it. Even with Rooney leaving.
With Zaha and Fabio coming back too, I think our squad would look very very healthy for next season. A fantastic mix of youth and experience. It would probably be in the best shape it's been in since 2008.
