Was wondering the same. Thiago at €18m euros could at a stretch be described as sensational, gotze's transfer was sensational, maybe even Neymar, but strootman to united sensational? Really? Maybe it's sensational that we're getting a midfielder for a change.
Sensational for him perhaps, and sensational that PSV are getting £17m. But nothing else is sensational about this.
