As predicted a few weeks back #Dortmund are expected to secure a deal for #Ajax Eriksen shortly "fantastic team where I would live to play"

Thats a brilliant move for them. I suggested earlier when they lost Götze that they should go for either Eriksen or Isco to replace him. Also werent they in for Kevin de Bruyne? Werent there rumors they already signed him for £15m? Any more news on that?

Porto striker Jackson Martinez as well as Villa's Benteke also transfer targets for Dortmund. Sporting director Zorc watched both Benteke and Martinez at the weekend.

I havent seen Martinez to comment on him. Who do you think is better Jaap?

Correct:

De Bruyne has agreed a 5 year deal with Dortmund according to Bild, clubs must agree fee. #BVB has offered €15M to #CFC, not accepted yet.

They are not going to play de Bruyne anytime soon. I mean they have their 'three' plus they are very interested in signing Schurrle to play on the wings which means I one of Hazard or Mata might move more centrally in place of Oscar and De Bruyne's main position is CAM. Dortmund will be a good move for the lad.

Martinez has done very well for his first season in European football and has filled the void left by Falcao as best as he could. 28 in 37 is a super return and he's scored a few special goals too.

Benteke is 4 years younger though and I think he has the potential to be one of the top strikers in the world if he continues to progress.

Definitely think Dortmund would be better off buying Benteke as he's younger, his build up play is great and Dortmund love a counter which he can hold the ball up for but also get involved in, and if they have to sell him later on because a sugar daddy club comes in for him they'd easily recoup what they pay for him.

I wonder if Dortmund are expecting any other departures on top of Lewandowski and Gotze and whether or not they can agree a permanent deal for Sahin.

I sure hope not. Them two leaving in itself is a huge set back and they have to rebuild by buying players like Eriksen/De Bruyne or Martinez/Benteke.

I'm pretty sure that Dortmund have him on an 18/24 month loan and that there's a relatively small buyout clause attached to the deal. If Dortmund want Sahin back then the option to get him is certainly there, although from what I've seen of Dortmund this season he's not actually played that much compared to before he left where he was the hub of the team.

Thats because Gundogan is better than Sahin. Whether he is on loan or whether they buy him, he is only going to be a backup for Gundogan.

The ex Santos Vice President has said that Neymar will join Bayern. Most likely not true but it would make sense as Pep was the manager when Barcelonas interest in him was high. Maybe he wants a superstar like Messi who will do unbelievable things?

he's already bringing in Gotze, and inheriting the strongest team in the world at this point.
does he really need neymar as well?

Julien Laurens claims that Sir Alex Ferguson asked Carlo Ancelotti to succeed him, and when he declined we went for David Moyes.

Neymar could play up front. Robben and Ribery will be replaced in the coming years even though they're both still very good, Ribery especially.

Muller, Kroos, Gotze, Shaqiri and Neymar would be an amazing array of attacking options.

SW...I rate Jagielka...I'm sure it's just a rumour to be fair but how important has he been to you and just how good is he?

I've said it before but he's a far better player than Cahill for example for me.

And to go along with the rumours of the incoming players, Muller, Kroos and Robben have been tipped to depart. As plausible as Neymar for at least 1 of them to go this summer with Robben being the most obvious. Kroos looks a player, but can't imagine him playing in a Guardiola team. But everything remains a rumour until it either happens..or September 1st.

Cheeky bid for Kroos? Yes please

Bayern already denied the Neymar story, there's no truth to it. Didn't make sense at all after buying Götze.

If he can get him, why would he say no? Stand still and they won't stay the strongest for long.

The thing is they're not standing still at all anyway, buying Gotze is already step further than any of the other top clubs have made. Add Lewandowski to that and they really do not need anymore players for next season, that is pretty much as good as it can get for them.

Has Lewandowski been confirmed then? Forgot about that transfer.

guess the person who drempt it all ups sleeping :(

How do you build a team around Neymar and Messi? That's what I'd be interested to see... Surely both would be most effective in a central position?

Nah, Neymar operates mostly from the left from what I can tell. Messi can operate centrally or from the right. Imagine this:

Rooney
Neymar ---------------------- Messi

El Mundo Deportivo (the newspaper carrying the Thiago transfer story) are also reporting Barcelona being interested in Rooney.

Can't imagine Rooney playing for Barca at all. Not because he belongs to United and all that bs, but because I don't think he's technically good enough to play their type of football.

Barcelona's front three isn't exclusively rigid, they always inter-change. Not that I think Rooney is on a Messi/Neymar level either in terms of technical ability, mind.

He will suit the Primera Liga imo much better than Prem

The new Robinho.

Cant help feel that the fact that he's "the worlds most marketable" athlete is driving the bidding war. Looks a talent but has it all to prove in a top league.

Barca wont change much, Neymar will just touch Villas place as a wide forward IMO.
