Probably of no immediate use to the team. In affect, we've signed two players we can use this season and both are attacking.

I see Herrea, if signed, playing a fair whack of games this season. £10million, he's not gonna sit on his arse.

Why are they of no use to the team?

I can understand the two 18yo's, but Herrera is 22 and Buttner 23; they'll be effective in senior squad immediately.

032 is talking through his arse, most of them will be part of the first team squad immediately

You can't please some people

Kenny - Hill Gabbidon Ferdinand Young
Cesar - Bosingwa Carvalho Dawson Fabio

That would be some transformation in the space of a year

Carvalho and Cesar would be superb signings and a huge upgrade on what they had.

'Arry must be wishing he was managing QPR, their owner is treating it like fantasy football with the signings they've made this summer.

It's like they bought a load of mediocre players, and then realised they could get a couple of better ones, and not the ones they originally bought are pissed.

Indeed; definitely following the Man City playbook.

Seriously though Cesar must have better options than QPR regardless of how much they are offering him in wages; has he fallen so far in the last few seasons?

That would be hilarious. Rob Green has one bad game and they replace him with Julio Cesar. Take that, you pile of shit.

In fairness - Rob Green has only played 1 game for QPR. Give him a few weeks and I am sure he ll conjure up a few more

He's been told he's no longer first choice at Inter. Handanovic is their new number 1 and Stramaccioni can't guarantee Cesar any playing time.

Nay! Its not about pleasing is about judgement and or assessment of the players we've bought.

Nick Powell - is young and from a lower division and it will take him time to adjust and we'll probably won't see much of him until the second half of the season. League & early stages of the cup competitions might be his best bet.

Angelo Henriquez - is young and will be competing for playing time with Persie, Rooney, Hernandez, Welbeck and possible Berbatov. That's not to mention one or two attackers being promoted from the reserve team. Add to that he's in a new country, new culture, new style of player and new type of weather (the latter I just slipped in)

Alexander Buttner - He's probably got the best chance of playing as his only competition is Evra but the latter will always play in the important fixtures which when it comes to United, are frequent

Hector Herrera - I haven't read much about him except that he's from the Olympic '12 Gold winning team. I assumed he was pretty young and cheap. If what the other posters are suggesting that he'd cost £10m then yes, I concede that he will probably get more game time. But just like Powell, He will be competing with Scholes, Carrick, Cleverly, Anderson, Jones, Giggs, Kagawa and (hopefully), Fletcher.

I thought my original observation was reasonable.

To be fair, Handanovic is bloody brilliant. Understandable to pick him over Cesar.

If Cesar is indeed available, watch Spurs declare their interest soon. They need a goalkeeper don't they, with Friedel at 41

Cesar has definitely had a steep downturn in form in the last couple of years but I'm not an avid follower of Serie A. I've just seen some of the mistakes he made and read reports on him. He was so good a few years ago though

I have a friend who is an avid Inter fan and he thinks Cesar hasn't been the same after the Holland game in the World Cup.

I have to post this one, it's brilliant:

So an #Evra to #LFC deal looks possible, the transfer of the century? #MUFC #EXCLUSIVE

:lol::lol::lol:

I'm sure it is, certainly none of them are to be taken seriously - I just thought that was a particularly funny one.

Maicon agent in England in talks with Manchester City from @tancredipalmer

I can't believe that the Kaka rumour started on Twitter by Agent 153 made it on United Facebook Page.

What's wrong with the world we live in? :(

It's the blue moon rubbish account, can't remember who on here runs it, I always think its solius for some reason
