Aye, well my point is that his contact is either going off the rumours we're all reading or, more likely, entirely imaginary.
 
Doubt it got sorted out in one day. I expect him to play for Arsenal in their friendly tomorrow and the stories will turn into "RVP Stays With Arsenal" for a few days, until it swings back the other way before next weekend.

Not really, no. You can enter into an agreement that is contingent on a certain event (medical, work permit etc.) but generally those aren't operational until the contingency takes place. It's just a lazy description (or possibly a misunderstanding) by the media.
