Juventus in for suarez is tomorrows big muppet story in the Mirror.

Sun goes with Nani in crunch talks with United and Arsenal find Fabregas mark 2 in Ricardo Alvarez.

@FlixandTrix: Mirror says #MUFC have now walked away from a deal for Lucas b/c extra fees were too much (£6m). Says #MUFC would've happily paid £25m total

Meanwhile throughout yesterday, Miguel Delaney said that United are extremely confident of getting it done, and Bob Cass stuck to his guns as well. Reckon there is some bargaining going on, and I think we'll get him.

It looks like agent fees is the reason for the collapse, as it was the case on the Hazard deal.

I wont be too disappointed if we don't get him purely because his agent comes across as a right twonk!!

Lucas should fire his agent and hire Mendes

In other news, van Persie has apparently joined Arsenal's pre-season tour. Not sure how that sounds, but it's increasingly likely he'll do a Rooney and stay there

Nasri went on Arsenal's pre season tour and even played in the PL for them last year before moving.

There was a few reports saying he's decided to stay. I think he will. Either way, i think he's kicked Wenger and the Arsenal board into action. Even if he leaves, with the signings they have made and may make, they will be in a lot better position.

Olympic 100m champion Usain Bolt has conquered the world of sprinting - now he wants to join Manchester United.

The 6ft 5in Jamaican - who scorched to gold in 9.63 seconds on Sunday evening in London - reckons he could m ake a difference to the Reds side.

"People think I am joking, but if Sir Alex Ferguson called me up and said 'Okay, let's do this. Come and have a trial', it would be impossible for me to say no," he said.

"I would not take up the challenge if I didn't think I was good enough. I am a very accomplished player and I know I could make a difference.

"I would be the fastest player in the team - but I can play as well."

Rio Ferdinand was quick to extend an invitation to Bolt on twitter saying: "@usainbolt if you want that trial at Man Utd shout me, I'll speak to the boss!! Well done in 100m, waiting for you to smash the 200m now!"

Bolt replied: "After the Olympics we work on that...lol..thanks man @rioferdy5"

Well - he wouildnt be the worst on counter-attacks :)

Twitter has become ridicolous this summer- didnt think it could top last year with Sneijder. The abuse Bob Cass has recieved on there is shameful- so he prints a story and it may turn out wrong? Will not be the first or last journo to do so- yet people think he is fair game. Daniel Taylor said it was nailed on that Vidic was leaving it did not happen but you did not see the same vile abuse. I go on there because stories do tend to break quicker than on ssn- but other than that it is full of cretins.

Athletic Club Bilbao ‏@Athletic_eng
Athletic Bilbao Spanish striker Fernando Llorente has rejected an offer of €4.5M a year from the Basque club and wants to leave.

Darren Can ‏@Darren_Can
Spurs wanted him last summer but wages proved the killer. Spanish press (salacious) linked United to him recently.

Not that I condone the abuse but it's all brought upon himself (and the same with a lot of journalists). They want to "exclusively reveal" everything too quickly when deals aren't in place and bask in the glory of being right and brag "as I told you X is joining....", yet conveniently forgetting all of the ones that didn't happen.

Although some go too far, I think people just want to call them out on the bullshit.

Good wages for a club of Athletic calibre. Would rather have Lewandowski next year if a striker comes in though, but the prospect of getting Llorente on a free is interesting.

Darren Can ‏@Darren_Can
Bilbao will surely offer Llorente another new deal after this initial rejection

My first thought was City if he's moving due to wages, especially if City are actually out of the running for RvP but still get rid of Dzeko.

Chelsea is a good shout also; I'd be far more worried about them getting him than Hulk as they were linked previously.

Can't see Spurs in the running, but Arsenal are doing good business so far...

I'd take him. With the amount of times we play the ball wide it'd be nice to have a beanpole in the box to get on the end of the crosses.

I dont know why all those insults....if you think someone lied or fabricated a story just 'unfollow him'.

Miguel Delaney ‏@MiguelDelaney
@julesunited @Xaviesque not dead, but situation has changed. On Sat, United were convinced. Since then, concerned by PSG

Bianca Rose Russell ‏@BeeLee_93
@MiguelDelaney is that Wagner Ribeiro twitter account real? If it is he seems very unprofessional
2h Miguel Delaney ‏@MiguelDelaney
@BeeLee_93 not sure about twitter but he has apparently been "trouble" all through the negotiations.
Michael Rhian Webber ‏@mikediscofox
@MiguelDelaney Hi Miguel do you have an idea what club business fergie delayed going on tour for was? Going to look silly without signing(s)
14m Miguel Delaney ‏@MiguelDelaney
@mikediscofox that was for Lucas... and he left it apparently convinced.

Bianca Rose Russell ‏@BeeLee_93
@MiguelDelaney any club with a decent amount of money will always affect united deals, thanks for the information anyway :)
2m Miguel Delaney ‏@MiguelDelaney
@BeeLee_93 this and the Glazers won't pay excessive agent fees. No problem.

From Miguel Delaney's timeline. He, like Bob Cass, called it in our favour Saturday night/Sunday morning.

What's the point of going for Llorente when you have two strikers who are much better than him?

If Real are going for him when they have Benzema and Higuain, chances are they disagree that those two are better than him. Plus they dont have many Spanish players so they tend to jump at the chance to go for one

@MiguelDelaney What do you think made Fergie leave? Do you believe he thinks the Lucas-deal is done and dusted?

6m Miguel Delaney ‏@MiguelDelaney
@CheGiaevara He definitely thought it was on Saturday night... it very much isn't now, as has become obvious.

5m Jonas Giæver ‏@CheGiaevara
@MiguelDelaney Has a fee been agreed with São Paulo, though?

3m Miguel Delaney ‏@MiguelDelaney
@CheGiaevara as far as I'm aware, that was sorted quite early on. But there was a grey area re paying representatives etc

hmmmm
