That football source account is interesting. Smells like bullshit, but he was banging on about Hazard having verbally agreed to move to United ages ago, before changing his mind after the Champions League. Turned out he wasn't far off, so why not let the bullshitting continue :lol: :cool:
 
Yes, the account was saying Hazard would join us, but once Chelsea won the CL that it could throw a spanner in the works.

Turns out that's what happened. We'll just wait and see. They're adamant that we're 100% in for Modric and that early negotiations have taken place.

In all fairness - he probably would have if Robben hadn't missed that penalty
 
It doesn't show anything - most likely he doesn't know but for all we know, he could have been right. If anyone had said that Gazza was gonna sign for United, they would have been right - until Gazza changed his mind. Even Ferguson was convinced he got him.

Read his other tweets. Most of what he has said hasn't happened. He also slips up in some tweets and talks about his 'opinion' rather than what he knows. I could make just a convincing ITK as him.
 
Funny how not a single "ITK" knew Kagawa was going to be announced today. They're all worthless. As usual the only ones worth following are actual journalists (who pegged the announcement was coming 30 minutes before it did).

It isn't funny, they are not ITK, it isn't even a point for debate. If they really were 'ITK' then they could persue a career in journalism. You think that some random bloke has real insider contacts with several of the of the worlds top clubs?

They are just normal folk who like the attention they can get on twitter by claiming to be ITK. They just read the same press as us and make guesses.

If before yesterday they were right(by fluke or logic) because then thats what Hazard said today.

We all knew that was the case as Lille's chairman said that he'd changed his mind. It was all over the papers. The reason I posted this is because Hazard tweeted that he's chosen Chelsea, then the supposed ITK, says Hazard has chosen Chelsea, then changes his mind and says that Hazard didn't actually say Chelsea, then not long later says that, actually, he has chosen Chelsea.

All his ITK crap coincides with it being rumoured and reported in the papers.

why is it annoying? We didn't get Robben and we still won things, we didn't get Hazard and we are still going to compete. If they don't want to join there's no use getting annoyed, its their loss

If I am not quite mistaken - Chelsea have lost £68 and £72 million over the last 2 years - and with the signing of Hulk and Hazard - I doubt it's gonna get better. So if we follow the FFP strict - there is no way they can fullfill the financial demands - yet I don't believe for a second they will be kicked out.
 
To be fair to Football Source, a lot of other places said he picked us over City at first. Even L'equippe said it a few weeks back, and they were the ones who broke that he's going Chelsea.

Hazard himself said he was coming to Manchester a few weeks back. I reckon if Chelsea did not win the CL, he'd very much be at United right now.

Juve are building a terrific team, still need an excellent striker IMO.
 
Does Hazard think Chelsea are going to win the CL again soon? Let's face it it was a fluke they won it at all and the chances are excellent next year's winner will be from Spain or even Italy. I would think if an English team were to win it next year it will be more likely to be City than Chelsea.
 
We haven't been linked with Daniele De Rossi yet. :( It's not a true transfer window until we're linked with him.

They may not make 4th next year, at which point it will be amusing to get Hazard's thoughts on how Chelsea's "project" is coming along. I can see Di Matteo getting the sack after a shit start, and another interim manger getting sucked in to finish the year (Roman wouldn't have it any other way).
