My only reason would be so he wears a Nike shirt rather than Umbro, i'm aware that Umbro is owned by Nike.
You may recall when Ronaldo left United they were some talk about him wearing an adidas shirt of madrid and their preference was Barca as they were sponsored by them.

Ya, but Ronaldo was a proven top player at the time, atleast a deal like that would benefit them, but it is still a rediculous deal. Getting Nike to pay 50k a week to a talented young relatively unproven player in Hazard is also rediculous, that is setting the bar for other deals then, creating havoc really. Plus it is giving Nike a possibly say in things, I presume they'd want terms and conditions and all that, they dont just hand over money without getting something in return. Look at brazil world cup 98 for them apparently organising the team sheet.

I think it has come from Pete Boltons tweet, saying Hazard and Kagawa have being at OT and talked to Gill.
To be honest that one only caught my eye because of the redcafe hashtag, however according to @PeterBolton3 , Hazard and Kagawa were at Old Trafford with Gill today
Didn't Kagawa fly back to Japan on Monday or Tuesday? Did he just get home and then turn right back around despite there being WC Qualifiers with Japan in the next two weeks?

So Kagawa came back from Asia having been here a few days ago and Hazard was over for the day, despite having his last game for Lille in less than 48 hours. I think I see a few flaws in this one.

I'm guessing with Kagawa they are talking about the meeting the other day. As for Hazard, he only plays in France, it wouldn't be a big deal to fly here and back for the game in that timeframe, I mean Fergie was at the German cup final less than 24 hours before our final game of the season.

it doesnt matter. Peter Bolton needs to be more precise with his tweets. What can be confirmed regarding Hazard is that we have been in contact with him and his agent for some time now. That much is true. Whether he is signing or not, we will find out

I'd say the fact that no semi respected journalist has mentioned it says all we need to know about that.
