Well it's been so doom and gloom all season so i thought that I would attempt to lighten the mood.

The way i see it, we are 10 points behind Leicester having gained 2 points on them with these midweek fixtures, with Spurs, Arsenal and City losing tonight we pulled back 3 points on all of these teams having beaten Arsenal on sunday.

This weekend is the north London derby meaning that at least one of Spurs or Arsenal will drop points giving us another chance to close the gap. on top of this we have players returning from injury, have won 4 on the spin in all competitions and still have to play City, Spurs and Leicester.

10 Points doesn't seem that bad anymore.

Can't fault the enthusiasm, top 4 maybe, title challenge? No chance

If we won the title, I'd never consider the Premier League a top league ever again.

10 points in 10 games? Unless we win every single game, then there's no chance. And we aren't going to win every single game. So yeah, no chance.
We have hope for top 4 but even still we are up against it. City have an easier run in, and we won't be able to keep getting away with games like today when we have so many injuries. Let's just focus on the next game, but I think our best hope for anything is to win a cup, rather then top 4.

After everything....

After the God awful football
After the God awful performances
After all the rumours
After all the times Woodward has looked like a clown
After the embarrassing defeats and terrible draws
After all the Mourinho talk

If we win the league after all that, I'd probably never watch football again. I'd have seen everything then, no point in watching again :D

Nope, but this should at least put to bed the nonsense about top four being out of reach.

If you think about the last four games, we've behaved very much like a Fergie United. Several great wins, exhilarating football, and then toughed our way through a scrappy match and managed to come away with a win. All this with an injury-ravaged squad.

With Pulis coming up next in the league we'll probably have to repeat the latter trick.

10 out of 10 wins would give us 77 points. What has 77p meant in previous seasons?

I don't think its beyond us.. I would love it, just love it if we won it.

Lets not kid ourselves. I would be ecstatic with 4th place right now given how our season has gone. Doubt we will go any higher.

We'd have to win every game between now and the end and even then Leicester would need to drop 7 so no it won't happen, not with our current team, we just about got through this match.

We don't have that consistently effective player in the final third to consistently score goals or create.

And then the fact that from the first leg against Midgetylland to the final game against City before the international break we will have played 10 matches in 32 days, the players already look fatigued, I don't think they can keep winning.

The race for top four is on though, that with a trophy in either the FA Cup or Europa League would make for a successful season when combined with the youth players that have shown themselves worthy of our squad next season.

Add more players either like Martial, Memphis and Shaw or a world class player or two and we are in an excellent position.

If we win next 10 games we will win it 100%. Problem is, we will not win all of our 10 games.

Probably a good job it isn't one of those seasons then I guess.

You all seem really nervous that we might actually do it and then all of your bitching a whining all year will have been for nothing.

This season is different, as Mourinho predicted at the start of the season the league will possibly be won by the lowest points total ever, as of now Leicester are projected 77 points.

10 out of 10 wins and we have a real chance, obviously we won't win our remaining 10 matches.

I saw a team play poorly, soak up the pressure and come away with a 1-0 win.

Now....what is it they say about champions and playing poorly?

I'm not sure I agree with tonight being about character as much as it was about enormous luck and the sheer incompetence of the Watford forwards.

I still think top 4 is a huge ask and I would bet against us getting there tbh.

That speaks volumes mate to be honest when we are level on points with a team in terrible form and we still have to play them.

nope

Team that should be in the relegation spots top, two bottlers from North London next and behind them one who's been shedding points for months.

It's ours to lose, really, at this point.
