Trump/Russia/SDNY investigation

What a spectacle this is.

Any Republican committee that has Louis Gohmert on it should immediately be disbanded for sheer ineptitude.

What a bunch of utter cnuts Republicans are.

If Pecker and/or AMI are found guilty of commiting a crime the immunity deal gets blown up

The Bertrand comment is a bit of a nothingburger imo. If you saw the entire Maher show last night there was a back and forth going on with all the other guests (Christie, Jack Kingston etc) and Maher decided to give her a quick question to make sure she wasn't getting ignored during the segment.

I'd be careful, I'm getting a Qatar Airways ad right below this post. They're watching.

Guardian said:
Today the Senate confirmed William Barr as attorney general, over concerns by Democrats that he will not properly oversee the investigation into the Trump campaign’s connections to Russia.

This afternoon, Matt Schlapp — who chairs the American Conservative Union and whose wife Mercedes is the White House director of strategic communications — raised eyebrows with a tweet suggesting there might be merit to those fears.

“Tomorrow will be the first day that President Trump will have a fully operational confirmed Attorney General,” he tweeted. “Let that sink in. Mueller will be gone soon”.

Gosh! Mueller’s SC says that Manafort deserves between 19.5 and 24.5 yrs in prison for his 8 financial crimes.

Plea deal would have been a better option unless he’s had the thumbs up from Trump for a pardon.

You really are left wondering why this man insists on lying though. What on Earth is he hiding?

(Edit: it’s not the SC, it’s the Sentencing Guidelines from the Probabtion Department. Mueller agreed with their calculation).
