Trump/Russia/SDNY investigation

The Jerome Corsi interview was a waste of time. Kept being evasive. I don't know why CNN interview guys that can't or won't say anything.

“That’s a question I’ll have to determine after my attorneys have some discussion,” Stone said on ABC’s This Week. “If there’s wrongdoing by other people in the campaign that I know about – which I know of none – but if there is I would certainly testify honestly. I’d also testify honestly about any other matter including communications with the president.”

Stone now “considering” Mueller co-operation. Would it be worth trying to flip this one.

Nah no chance. He just can’t be trusted. Just not worth it and it’s characters like him are the reason that this investigation exists. Why hit one of your targets and then offer them a lifeline?

Sanctions have been lifted on companies where Deripaska has reduced his stake, not Deripaska himself who seem to remain blacklisted. This after lobbying from US allies with subsidiaries that have been affected or suffered aluminium supply disruptions. Swedish aluminium workers here in Sundsvall are relieved at least.

I won't even be surprised when America comes clean and reveals that the entire Trump presidency and everything surrounding it was just a big prank.

One day a cameraman will jump out from behind bushes, and then some host will stick his head over a fence and yell out 'that's right, you've been trumped.'

..gets shot by the secret service agent that wasn't briefed on this whole thing.

I hope so mate because you guys deserve a hell of a lot more than you have been served with in the last few years. At the very least I think we can all revel in seeing Stone being arrested!

There's very little they can do to Trump right now as he's being protected by his executive power and one arm of Congress. As soon as he's out of office whether it be the next 2 years or 6, he's toast. At the end of the day, the work Mueller is doing isn't a sprint.

Yeh my country Jamaica lobbied for sanctions lifting as well. Lots of people here are hired to a company that is a subsidiary to it.

Meanwhile in Gotham City, Roger Stone - the man with eyebrows like two skateboard ramps - is due to appear in court.

I watched " All the President's Men" yesterday at last. I had been meaning to watch it for a long time. Its so eerie, how the scenario is exactly as it is today. Hope the end result is also the same.

Does Whitaker even have the authority to determine when a report is released?
There's no chance this thing finishes anytime soon.

If you watch the video, it certainly seemed like the main thing he was addressing was the question about his own view of the investigation now given what he'd said previously in that 2017 op-ed piece. He seemed to be now vouching for the integrity of the investigation, against what he'd said in the past. And then threw in the "it should be wrapping up soon" as a way to pacify Trump.

He's not supposed to say a damn thing about the investigation. Look at all the sweat on him while he's answering that question.
