Trump/Russia/SDNY investigation

Pirro for what its worth is one of the smarter ones in the Trump - Fox news orbit and she asks the tougher questions.

That's like saying which nursery school pupil is the best at reading. It's not exactly a high bar of comparison with the Fox lot. Also, I pretty much guarantee Trump would have every question he was due to be asked and had probably spoken with Janine about it all beforehand.

Sure but do you expect Hannity to ask Trump if he is working for Russia straight to his face?

It makes no difference if Trump is already primed for it, does it? It's all for show anyway. She didn't ask with any sincerity, it was more like a rhetorical question asked sarcastically than it was a sincere inquiry.

She asked him sarcastically, as if the idea was beyond preposterous. It's not like she was grilling him.

As for her being one of the smarter ones on Fox? Nah, not remotely. She's a sycophant and no different to Hannity. Chris Wallace, Shep Smith and Bret Baier are the only people on Fox worth a damn (though strangely Judge Napolitano is heading in that direction).

Just in case we're in a bubble here, but has anyone come out to put a damper on these revelations? Or are they as batshit compromised lackey of Putin as they sound?
No one has an idea what he discussed with Putin, otherwise there would have been leaks for sure. The WH didn't even out out a statement. All we know about those meetings are from the Kremlin. The lengths Trump has gone to conceal them although raises suspicion, proves nothing. No body will ever know.

She was a NY AG and Judge, she has a level of clout the rest of the sycophants don't have.

Her background doesn't matter a jot. Rudy Giuliani used to be a federal prosecutor and look at him now.

Pirro presents an opinion show that only vaguely intersects with reality where she forcefully pushes a pro-Trump agenda. She's exactly like Hannity.

Pirro is a grotesque self-righteous Trump propagandist. She is living example what cognitive dissonance looks like.

During her tenure as district attorney, she repeatedly refused to reopen the murder case of Jeffrey Deskovic.[14] In 1990, Deskovic was falsely convicted of killing a 15-year-old girl and spent 16 years in prison before he was exonerated by DNA evidence.

Republicans need to start to focus on what is best for the US not what is best for themselves and their party.

Lindsey Graham has a long way to travel to reach that starting point.

It’s hard when they’ve all been compromised and bought.

They all want shooting for treason.

Homer Trump strikes again:
@RadioFreeTom
Trump: "They should look into Cohen’s father-in-law, there’s a huge story there."
Pirro: "What’s the father-in-law’s name?"
Trump: "I don’t know."

Another all-time great ramble from Donald.

Pirro: Are you now, or have you ever worked for Russia Mr President?

Trump: I think it’s the most insulting thing I’ve ever been asked. I think it’s the most insulting article I’ve ever had written. And if you read the article, you’d see that they found absolutely nothing. But the, the headline of that article, it’s called “The failing New York Times” for a reason, they’ve gotten me wrong for three years. They’ve actually gotten me wrong for many years before that. But you look at what’s going on, you know, I fired James Comey. I call him lying James Comey, because he was a terrible liar, and he did a terrible job as the FBI director. Look at what happened with the Hillary Clinton and the e-mails and the Hillary Clinton investigation, one of the biggest screw-ups that anybody’s ever seen as an investigation. And what happened after I fired him? Andrew McCabe, Peter Strzok, his lover, Lisa Page, they did it. And, you know, they’re all gone. Most of those people, many, many people from the top ranks of the FBI, they’ve all been fired or they had to leave. And they’re all gone. This is what they were talking about. And, obviously, nothing was found. And I can tell you this, if you ask the folks in Russia, I’ve been tougher on Russia than anybody else, any other — probably any other president period, but certainly the last three or four presidents, modern day presidents. Nobody’s been as tough as I have from any standpoint including the fact that we’re doing oil like we’ve never done it, we’re setting records in our country with oil and exporting oil and many other things, so, which is obviously not great for them, because that’s what they, that’s where they get their money for the most part. But many other things. So I, I think it was a great insult. And the New York Times is a disaster as a paper. It’s a, it’s a very horrible thing they said, and they’ve gone so far that people that weren’t necessarily believers are now big believers, because they said that was a step too far. They really are a disaster of a newspaper.

I was hoping that Mueller had already spoken to any interpreters.

I’d be interested to know who the interpreter was. It will have been someone hand picked by Trump and seen to be loyal to him.

If there was some shady shit going down in that meeting, you can guarantee that interpreter will have been handsomely rewarded for their discretion at the same time the health of their family members was being mentioned.

Maybe a Russian and English speaking (with English as a 2nd language) “collaborator”.....who knows!

Hmm seems she’s a long term staffer at the WH who worked for First Lady Bush 2 called Marina Gross. Congress will 100% be looking to talk to her.

They shouldn’t worry about setting a precedent...this whole presidency is causing precedents to be set.

Feels like this isn't the tree dems should be barking up. As stupid as Trump is - and he's monumentally stupid - Putin is not, and wouldn't have let anything sensitive have been said. If the dems break this norm I don't think it'll gain them much, but it will cede a tiny bit of moral high ground to the GOP/Trump .

And Mueller has this, dems, just chill.

Its not about what Putin got.
Its about giving any information to Putin he was not entitled to.
This is huge.

He has betrayed the United States by his own administration not knowing what was spoken about.

Simply called Treason.

Let's be fair. The moral high ground means sweet feck all in the US when it comes to how politicians conduct themselves.

I see what you're saying but the only side that cares about the moral high ground are dems. Republicans have proven to not give a single shit.

Trump’s mouth runs away with him almost every time he speaks because he loves to listen to himself and he has little understanding of the word sensitive. So bearing those points in mind I would guess that the chances of him having said something “of interest” to us all is quite high indeed.
