Never mind Hillary or Trump, it's Kushner that needs locking up.
But who will bring peace to the Middle East?! Where's Ja Rule? We need to make sense of this.

I think Trump is imploding with all the events of this past week. There are reports from inside the WH that some thing has changed with him and the staff are concerned. He apparently made the decision on tariffs after losing his temper about the Hope Hicks white lies situation as well as some other problems with Kelly and McMaster. The Mueller investigation is tightening around his neck by the day and has now for the first time involving his daughter (along with obviously Jared). At some point he is going to snap and do something extremely irrational regarding either policy or getting rid of Mueller. If he does, then it could initiate a dramatic sequence of events that could result in a complete meltdown of his Presidency.

Up means it is less likely, down means it is more likely.
That he will try to fire Mueller ? They have gone up. He's probably stewing about all of this at Mar-o-lago this weekend and strategizing his next move with his inner circle of cronies.
How odd. I've always seen it the other way around.
Not sure what the exact terminology is but I think it comes from the comparison/comparator, if it gets more likely the comparison goes down against the comparator.
For example if the odds were 9/1 and the event got more likely, they would “go down” to 6/1.
I've always viewed it in terms of probabilities.
Representation of odds:
6/5 - 2.20
10/11 - 1.91
4/6 - 1.67
Probably easier to see in decimals that the lower the number goes the more likely it is hence why it is referred to as odds going down.

He's far more of a Trump sycophant than O'Reilly was. At least Bill tried to push back on Trump on things like Putin being a bad guy and all that. Dobbs on the other hand is almost a Judge Jeanine quality Trump kool aid drinker.

You're right. If you say the odds have gone up, it means the chances have increased. Ignore the math nerds! They are correct that the odds become mathematically smaller, but the nomenclature has always been odds have gone up. The language and the math are inversely related!

I think what he means is the odds, in his case what really means is the likely hood, of the event happening has increased "gone up" (not really mathematically ) . What your are speaking of is the actual figures which as you have rightly said have decreased. The odds have been shortened or slashed . What he really means is he thinks the likelihood of the event happening has increased
