Transfer Tweets - Summer 2017 | Keep it on topic

Janssen would be a fine signing for West Brom. He'd suit their style very well and I think he'd flourish from under the shadow of Kane. The chap seems spooked every time he plays as he knows deep down he's only an understudy at Spurs. He needs the freedom of being a club's undisputed no.9 again.

Really not sure how you can say this given how he has performed thus far in England.

He'd be in the shadow of Jay Rodriguez

That came out of nowhere but understandable that he wants more games and will likely get it at West Brom.

Just another woeful attacker from the Dutch league from recent history.

Burke is a good player. With his size, strength and pace, I'd imagine West Brom are hoping he can turn out similar to Bale at Spurs.

He was cracking at Forest. Never really got a game at Leipzeig and Strachan doesn't seem to rate him for Scotland.

Isn't he a bit of a donkey though, physically great but a bit crap on the ball?

Haha so we ignore that RB Leipzig doesn't stand for Red Bull Leipzig, but rather Rasenballsport Leipzig?
Why wouldn't you?

It's not like anyone wants to learn how to spell it correctly without copy/pasting.

He's been awful when given a chance. I was at the Lithuania home game last year - he was dreadful and spent most of the game arguing with Strachan.

While that is true, I find it amusing that West Brom's official statement was that he was signed from Red Bull Leipzig.
There is no Red Bull Leipzig. At least get it right in official statements.
ohh! I didn't see that, thought you were talking about the tweet which was just a bit of fun.

Cant believe Ox is considering a move to Liverpool - very odd move and surely incorrect. Chelsea would make sense though.

Why would any 20 y/o attacking talent want to play for Pulis?

Well, it's worked so well for Gnabry, Pritchard and Leko, so why wouldn't they?

(Yes, it turns out Alex Pritchard did once join West Brom on loan, I'd forgotten too. Also I know none of these are 20, but close enough).

They didnt want to pay their star players that much a few years ago and now they want to pay that much for trash?

He's more likely to get regular game time in midfield at Liverpool than Chelsea where Bakayoko and Kante would be ahead of him in pecking order. Latter would probably want to play him at wingback.

Apologies but why would this be the case in your opinion opinions?

I think he's more likely to win things at Chelsea than Liverpool.

I've also seen the Ox as a hard worker, I think Conte wants a a hard worker in the midfield, he'll probably rotate him in with Willian.

Klopp also likes his players work hard, but i think Ox would struggle to get a game ahead of Mane and Salah. Actually i never considered AFCON.
