I wonder if possible PSG dominance in the champions league could spell the beginning of the end for the competition?

It's already gone quite stale and is losing appeal. I think a lot of fans will become disillusioned with it if PSG win it. It may just be wishful thinking on my part though.

You mean if PSG win it instead of Real or Barca? Would be a breath of fresh air for me if they win it and Id be delighted.

I really don't get this no club should be able to buy players from Barca and Real feeling .

We have had to accept Chelsea and City buying their way to the top in the premiership now it's the turn of Spains top two and personally I couldn't care less how butt hurt they are.

I agree it's gone a little stale but I think it has more to do with the Barca/ Madrid dominance of the last couple of years, PSG becoming another contender isn't bad at all. Plus it's no guarantee they'll dominate, look at City and Chelsea for example, two sugar daddy clubs that have thrown a ton of money in order to dominate Europe and haven't been able to do it

In the short term it would be nice to see a different winner. But what happens if PSG do this every season? How is it fair that they can spend £200m-£500m every summer whilst most big teams can only spend half that?

They will continue to spend ridiculous sums of money until they win the Champions League just like City. As much as I don't like Barcelona and Real's dominance, UEFA have to do something about PSG as they could become far worse.

I know it's only been 6 minutes, but surprised this has gone so long without being checked
Really ? You are judging them based on 2 league matches where they missed lot of key players ?

They will just be fine with Hazard,Fabregas returning. For me, they have the strongest 11 in epl.

A spread of talent amongst the top clubs can only be a good thing. I can't stand the fact that all the big stars were playing in the two Spanish clubs. This also more means competitiveness in the ucl. I just don't get the outrage in this place. Violation of ffp I get but psg being a serious challenger can only be a good thing

That's exactly what was said about Neymar, before he left for PSG.
He allegedly had a training ground bust-up with a Barca team-mate.

I thing the next stage is a tweet, in French, from his Monaco team-mate to say, "He stays".

Alli would fit in well with Mourinho's style but buying from Tottenham is gonna be a nuisance.

It'll be City. They'll take careful note of how easily PSG get away with their antics this season and they'll be in for a few very expensive players next summer. Dele Alli to City for £240m is my guess.

As do I, think next summer Real will bring in the next stock of Galacticos starting with Alli and de Gea.

Edit: No chance Spurs sell him to a PL club, they're not that stupid.

Yeah, Chelsea are oddly benevolent when it comes to allowing their players to go to rivals (Cech to Arsenal, Mata and Matic to us) - Levy is most definitely not.

call this Mino chap, he seems to be good
My thoughts exactly. Every player should get Mino as his agent right now. He's the only guy who's been ahead of the market, all his players been getting what they wanted all the time

Only PL clubs should be able to justify the astronomic fee Tottenham will ask, being homegrown and only really marketable in England.

Back tracking as he knows if he doesn't play for Liverpool (who won't sell this late in the window), he won't get picked for the WC

If Levywouldn't sell Dier to us, he 100% wouldn't sell Alli to us (espeically after the Berbatov transfer, we also don't like negotiating with him). He's the future of Spurs and someone they'll want in the team to see through their transition of moving to the new stadium. I think as soon as they've sorted their finances after moving to the new stadium, their wage structure will be changed and he'll get the money he wants.

I have to disagree, Real will have money to spend as do Barcelona. Footballers are marketable worldwide with the right marketing/PR team, take kids for example, they aspire to be/copy who the best footballers of their generation are and Alli will be one of those, if he's got a following then he'll sell merchandise wherever he plays, just look at Bale.

Is Bale that much of a global superstar? I'm not sure if I ever saw a Bale shirt in France.

Would it make sense for Real to spend €200m on Alli when they can get regularly players like Asencio and Ceballos for peanuts who could be just as good and marketable?

He's not signed his latest contract offer been on the table since march or april. expect this to run n run!

Still got a contract until 2022 though, it's gonna take huge money and him kicking up an almighty fuss for Levy to even remotely consider selling him to a PL rival.

 We have heard that before. Both of them will cost 300 m together
