He most certainly wasn't. People with connections to the squad say that he was cold-shouldered for breaching club and squad solidarity.

Here's what Llloris said about Rose's interview: " .... we understand his frustrations. It has been six or seven months he has been out of the team with an injury. The team is quiet about it. Danny made a mistake, he apologised and we move on. That's it. .... The commitment inside the squad is great".

Your faith in media stories is touching. This is the same media that's reported non-existent bids of £25m by Spurs for Martial ... and the same media that serves up guff everyday when it comes to football-related stories, especially during the transfer window. And it's the same media that serves up convenient narratives for gullibles like you to swallow hook, line and sinker ... but only when the narrative suits what you want to believe.

Yeah I agree with you on this. Wouldn't mind if we threw out a bid seeing as we are apparently dithering about looking for a winger / wing-back.

Apparently he wants to play in midfield, or at least that was the reason given when he was linked to Liverpool a few months ago.
 
Whenever I see some of the transfer news on twitter reminds me of season 5 of The Wire where the Baltimore Sun employee manufacturers interviews and reaction quotes.

Far from nailed on but i think he can be very good with the right setup/coach, particularly in the middle.

His surname really bugs me though. Why not just be Lucas? It's like they had a cough when naming their family.
 
There is just nothing going on with transfers at the minute it seems. Can it be that the Neymar deal has royally fooked the market, to be fair, how do you price a player now. Also, what kind of effect does this have on any deals that were in progress? I can imagine if it was hard for us to get Perisic at the value we were talking about at the start of the window, then its only going to make a selling club stronger...Can see there being a bit of a problem with signings for the rest of the window
 
Cedric would be a shrewd signing for Chelsea if they can get him for a reasonable price. Very good player who is keeping out impressive competition to maintain his starting place in the NT.
 
Personally think Cedric is very overrated. He's not a particularly great full back imo and certainly not good enough to play for Chelsea. He picks up cards every second game. He's decent going forward though so maybe he'd be more suited to a wing back role.
 
Hearing on Talksport that Juve want Fellaini. Unlikely that Jose would sell him though.
