Weird attitude. Dont think they should begrudge, but all players would say yes to barca and madrid? To me says you accept your a small (or atleast smaller) club with no aspirations so will happily move onto something bigger.

I'm curious as to why you think Jose would deliberately drive away a massive talent like Martial?
Its a question of whether Jose thinks he is a great talent.
Especially with him viewing someone like Lingard as more suitable to his team.
But none of us really know Jose's innermost thoughts where Martial is concerned. He certainly started last season with Martial in the side, and gave him plenty of chances throughout the season. I can only really judge by what I see happening on the pitch, and there were lots of times last season when Martial just, well, didn't seem arsed.
Great thing to read tho. Hopefully Shaw can get back flying fit like his Southampton days.
In a market where Paulinho goes for 36m I'd certainly demand a fair few pence for martial.

Martial will not leave.
One of his main advantages is that him and Firmino link up on club level all year, so it´s easy to slot in Neymar and have a functioning unit. If he sits all year and it additionally causes a problem with Firmino, who´ll be the player left out of the team or maybe the whole squad? It´s not like Brazil are starving for talent at the moment. If Neymar, Jesus, Firmino and Co. have strong seasons, I doubt the coach will pick a guy, who sat out the whole year, because of unprofessional and unsocial behaviour.
