If he does end up going to PSG, £360m+ for two players is insane. Even if they win the CL this season it's only £60m in prize money.
Will be even more interesting if either of these two players ever want to leave. This is one club who definitely don't need the money.

It's not about the money, PSG literally pump money out of the ground. It's like water to them.
Probably the only way they leave (if they maintain a high level of performance) is by running down their contracts.

From a commercial perspective there will be an increase for them in sponsorship, tv-rights and shirt sales for sure but never in line with how much they paid for these 2 players but that is ok for them as they have their Qatar owners pay for it.
This just makes me want them to flop in the CL even more. As long as Madrid, Barca or PSG (plus Liverpool but...highly unlikely anyway) don't win it, I'm happy.

Liverpool would be mad not to sell. Their squad is terrible and with the ridiculous fee Barcelona are proposing they'd be able to strengthen key areas. Coutiniho is an important player for them but he isn't the Cantona figure people seem to be making him out to be. He goes missing all of the time. How they can turn down the 2nd biggest transfer fee is beyond me. I expect he will go in the coming weeks.
