So as per DiMarzio article this seems like a new contract stunt

Isn't all these new contracts for MSN the reason Barca are in a bit of a mess? Maybe they should invest the money in areas that need strengthening? Instead of penny pinching on lesser quality players.

Two side ofthe same coins. Messi & Neymar were the main commercial attraction. They may take huge chunk of wage, but they're the main driving force both on pitch & offpitch for Barcelona. MSN on top a decent team is still one of the best teams. Cashing on them may give a huge cash up front, but in long term would damage Barcelona commercial value in case they ca't find worthy replacement. Replace Messi & Neymar on & ff the pitch value ain't easy.

I wasn't really thinking about selling them. More them not taking so much money in wages. I know that really isn't viable as someone else would gladly pay them.

 This whole 'saga' of Perisic seems similar to how the press kept saying Morata will be done in 48 hours and then BOOM we sign Lukaku instead. I do think there is someone else we are also tracking without the publicity and that's the hold up now.

Good for them. I'm assuming these other positions you think we need, we have nobody in the squad who could play there at the moment?
Holding midfielder? Carrick and who else? Blind maybe?

Why sign a left back when we need other positions far more importantly.

Andy Robertson ffs?! :wenger:

What a waste of time that would be.

It looks to me as though Inter really really don't want to sell. We are going to have to twist there arm with an offer that is too good to refuse. We'll probably end up paying £50-£60 million for him.

What a mad summer.

Carrick, Blind, Fellaini, Herrera. Just as unimpressive as left back in my opinion.

Have you actually watched Andy Robertson play?

Darmian fills a hole at left back too be fair. He's ok if you want to defend a lead but he's far too limited to offer anything going forward on the left.
