Rooney is a lot better than some are willing to admit. Obviously not top class enough to command a starting berth in the most important position for United, but still very good in his own right. Yea, pretty daft that. I considered him the best striker in PL for the first half of the season. With how things played out with respect to the China interests was his to blame. But then Conte texting him was naivety. Atletico was already interested last season and he would have gone for 50 mill easily. Not right now though.
