They say United, Chelsea and PSG are intersted but they also add it's unlikely Madrid would strengthen their super up opposition (United) by selling both Morata and Rodriguez.
Translation: United aren't interested. Their name is being used to drum up interest and drive the price up.
It's clear no one is interested in James and they got stuck with him. Strange because he's really a good player.

Surely these reports would have emerged earlier and with a lower price if that was our aim? Feel this is the Raiola / Everton camp trying to get Chelsea to pull out their finger and pay up. Can't see us signing both Morata and Lukaku and get the feeling we're too close to the Morata deal now to walk away (and Morata is also the better and preferred player).

Signing both of them could mean the end for either Martial or Rashford. Would hate to see them getting Mourinho'd, but i seriously doubt we'll sign both anyway. I guess we'll bring in Morata soon enough and the Lukaku talk has been made up by his agent to pressure Chelsea into signing him up asap.

Im not convinced how much interest United actually have in Lukaku. Could be that United and Everton are playing a game here?! United need to flush out RM so the Morata deal gets done and Everton need to flush out Chelski so that they stop dithering and cough up the funds for Lukaku.

No, I'd be fine if we got both, but I'd rather one and James. I just feel Rashford is good enough to be the second striker currently. Both Lukaku and Morata are quality enough for United though
But I thought Chelsea do fantastic transfers and we should do ours like them?
Even if they sign him (which I'd still put money on), it just shows that a lot of clubs are finding transfers difficult this summer.

I think given this price for a player who has had a couple of good seasons in France and not a regular in the national team will only enhance Madrids belief that the price for Morata should be around the 75-80m mark.
If we signed both (which I don't think we will) it would be 2 up front. So it would be Morata, Lukaku, Rashford and martial. Same as Yorke , Cole, Sherringham and Ole.
Only if they actually fufill their potential though. Chalobah melted in the playoff final, which my Watford mate still dislikes him for, even after his great season with them.
This, I wonder if the haggling is over a combine fee for both rather than just Morata?
