Transfer Tweets - Summer 2017 | Keep it on topic

At a reported transfer fee of £5.25m, Sandro is an absolute bargain.

Wanted him at United, quality depth with room for further development down the line.

wow thats a really good deal. You dont get such a low fee for a talented u21 Spanish striker usually.

I wouldn't. We should be buying from clubs like Benfica and Monaco, those are the players we should be targeting. Not being held to ransom by Inter Milan and Chelsea for 'good' players at best. Morata would be an excellent signing but dealing with Madrid? Tricky.
We have never signed someone from Benfica, so it is amazing we have managed it this time. They usually just use us to create interest in amazingly crap players they want to sell.

Having had the feeling of losing a parent earlier this year, I can almost guarantee that work is probably the last thing Jose is frustrated about right now and probably even on his mind.

It is just pure speculation, because Jose said he wants the business done before going on tour. 1+1 from Jackson there without knowing anything whats going on behind the scenes and in Jose's life

Duncan Castles has today written more-or-less the same piece as Jackson (Mourinho angered at lack of progress on transfers). Custis wrote the same last week.

Madrid media still trying to sell Rodriguez to United
They’re supposedly in a ‘battle’ with PSG to sign him.

They’re not.

Maybe we could do a BOGOF deal.

Wasn't this said last week?

Where even is Morata right now? Did he go back on honeymoon?

or is his wife still waiting for him on honeymoon? If so what is she doing by herself? are they still married?

and who was on that feckin' jet?

I have questions

They are supposedly in Sardinia now. That is some honeymoon. Much better than a B & B at Blackpool.

The conditions for a Dembélé departure. #rmclive

For Celtic coach Brendan Rodgers, there is no chance that his French striker Moussa Dembélé will leave Scotland this summer. But if the club of Glasgow fails to qualify for the group stage of the Champions League ...

Moussa Dembélé had a huge season with Celtic. According to The Evening Standard, Chelsea, Arsenal and West Ham, want to bring the ex-Fulham forward back to England. Everton and AC Milan would also be interested.

Rodgers: "There will be nothing before qualifying for the Champions League"

"Moussa is happy," said coach Brendan Rodgers, "and we do not want to sell him, but we know how football works. Champions League." In other words, a premature elimination of the Scots in CL will open the doors for a departure of Moussa Dembélé.

Same shit every week, He's been close to signing for about a month now. Wasnt it last week he supposedly rushed home from his honeymoon to push the deal through? days later Perez said they aren't even negotiating with anyone for Morata.

The press this summer are more clueless than ever, they have no fecking idea who we're after.

Seems English journalists are repeating what they said about Conte frustrated of Chelsea lack of transfers with Jose too now.

They are idiots.

They will move on to someone else soon.

They don't have anything to write about so they decide to fabricate things from their mind to fill some papers. This club didn't do any transfers ? Then his manager is mad and willing to leave !

Nonsense.

They have been wrong already twice this Summer

1. Keane who was set to join United.
2. Matic fee agreed and set for a medical. How long does a bloody medical take?

What they are good at is feeding on the insecurities of fans to write exactly what riles them up.

Bang on the money, good post.

That Keane news were even reported by BBC itself. Just a clear indications English journalists know nothing of how we're moving in summer. The sad thing is many of our fans knew this fact but keep going on meltdown on everything.

Right? £5.25m in the current market… peanuts. Nice work by Everton there.

No secret that I rate Sandro, I wanted him here. Even though we would've probably been asked to pay the exact double instead. It's a transfer norm these days: always charge United extra extra. Still, Sandro would've been a bargain for £10.5m too.

I'd love to sign this guy. He's going to be as good as Henrikh Larsson. If we sign two strikers this summer, this guy should definitely be one of them.

Waiting for someone to say how they have followed his progress throughout his career and that we have signed a gem :wenger:
I actually fought with his grandad during the war and he was banging on about how his future grandson was going to become a star. So I have been following his progress for the past 58 years (even though I'm 32).

i was trying to think what perez is stalling on? Like specifically what could he just drag out in talks that makes it go this long? We got the sense from the the pogba deal that Mino is a shite and he was wanting his cut in a three way transfer. However morata's agent isn't mino, there is only one mino
