He is technically solid. Very good team player. But he's not exceptional. I will take Morata over Lacazzette though, mainly because I like strikers with presence and attitude.

I remember saying a few months ago that Arsenal were huge idiots for letting Lacazette go to Atletico. He is absolutely tailor-made for Arsenal.

Let's hope he flops hard, especially on Thursday nights.

surprised Lacazettes moving to a non cl club at this stage of his career. makes me wonder why we haven't gone for him previously. good signing but if Sanchez is leaving the effect is negated somewhat.

I don't think there were many options for him and they're out of CL for only one season. Plus, I don't think the allure of CL is all that compared to what fans and media think because it's not like you have more than a slight hope unless you play for Real or Barca and maybe Bayern.

Edit: slight hope of winning it.

Chelsea tend to get linked to slightly less players therefore they have the perception of signing more players than they are "targetting".
 
I think I'm going insane, I only really follow redcafe for my info, and get continually suckered into the latest Morata-Fabinho-Perisic-Matic-James etc etc etc etc tweets and speculation, Jose said he wanted our transfer business done before we go on tour (did'nt he?).
So what the hell is going on ? We need to ship a few players out, get 4 or 5 in, and all THIS WEEK !
I understand it's the football norm to start and terminate contracts at the beginning of July, but unless Ed has achieved the equivalent of mission impossible it won't happen, do they (United) understand what it's doing to me !!

We've struggled pretty badly in the last few windows. Due to the greatness of Conte's coaching we turned what could've been poor signings into great ones.
