I´d say that Benzema, although it seems very complicated right now.
Interesting, you wouldn't have a #9 for Ronaldo to play off then, Mbappe isn't a #9, he's more of a SS or LWF.

Might as well move for Benzema if that's the case.
If he's, then interesting that the backup will be much more expensive then the first option.
In terms of the fee, that would certainly be true. I imagine they'd have to offer Sanchez something like double the salary, though.
Bomb blew up right under his arse while he was sitting in the crapper last time. Broke his heart..What, no boom?

Good thing Ronaldo's decision to leave Madrid is irreversible then.Feck no. Benzema will only succeed if he has a great goal scorer along side him. He'll fail miserably here.
Hmm he'll sure have a pay rise at City but not too much imo. I don't think his problem is in the salary or wages. I think he wants to join City to have a shot at winning the league but Arsenal wants to sell him to Bayern instead, hence he's asking for a ridiculous wages from Bayern to force them out and force Arsenal to sell him to City.
Apologies, I worded my post badly. What I meant was that Sanchez's salary demands relative to Dembeles would probably mean the overall cost of each deal during the course of, say, 3 years, might be broadly similar, even though Dembele's transfer fee would likely be greater.
Benzena out, Mbappe in and Morata still on the bench and you think he'd want to stay?Yeh, there's no way they both leave. Need to get that one wrapped up asap.
What has been rumored is: if Mbappé comes this year then according to Zidane, Bale should leave. Even some media wrote about PSG.
In addition there will be soon debate on Bale / Asensio / Isco, and in that case the Spanish press will go directly against Bale.
However right now that option seems very far in my opinion. I don´t see Bale accepting to go to France and the news around him are very calm.
I miss a rumor from a Premier League team to believe it.
It is also true that we are still in June.
That is why I chose Benzema, purely by elimination, although it was also said that he would renew soon.
City would be literally the worst choice for his career at this momentCity's backup in case Sanchez doesn't come off, perhaps?
I don't think so. Morata's actual stumbling block is Ronaldo. Benzema was preferred simply because he has been the better foil for Ronaldo. Morata at times would be in the area Ronaldo occupies, instead of making sacrificing run to draw the defenders away/ masking Ronaldo movement. That's only tactical side of thing though. Perez is known to make decision that defies logic, so anything can happenIf Benzema moves are we in trouble? As in Morata might stay then?

We should be all over Lemar or Dembele if they do make moves this summer. I don't care about 'systems' there is no way anyone including Jose Mourinho is selling me the concept of Perisic over one of those two, absolutely ridiculous.
Dont forget CR7If it was down to him, he'd leave. That much seems to be clear. I don't see Madrid going into next season with only one striker, though (especially if that striker is an 18 year old kid). I think Morata only leaves if Mbappe (or some other forward) comes in and Benzema stays.
They won't sell to us because of the RVP and Mourinho factors. If Arsenal are willing to sell to City, shouldnt we try to get in there, as well?
RVP? Surely that deal, along with the Welbeck one, showed that United and Arsenal can do deals with each other. Mourinho may well be a problem though. They won't sell to us because of the RVP and Mourinho factors.

Maybe he simply doesn't want to join us and prefers City because of his relationship with Pep and he knows Pep's system very well so it's a guaranteed success for him ?
I don't know why people here don't put the player's opinion factor in mind. We won't enter the bidding war for a player unless we contacted him and knew he wants to join us, otherwise we will bypass him to other targets. Sanchez might not want to join us, nor even Bayern. I think he only wants City.
Nah, Wenger has become a bitter cnut and even refused to let us sign Debuchy.RVP? Surely that deal, along with the Welbeck one, showed that United and Arsenal can do deals with each other. Mourinho may well be a problem though.
I don't think he wanted to sell to another rival and the same applies with Sanchez as well.Nah, Wenger has become a bitter cnut and even refused to let us sign Debuchy.
I agree, I don't think Sanchez wants to come here. On paper he's exactly the sort of hard working offensive player Mourinho loves, but that doesn't mean the player wants to come here.Maybe he simply doesn't want to join us and prefers City because of his relationship with Pep and he knows Pep's system very well so it's a guaranteed success for him ?

Well one things's for sure. If we indeed are not in the race for the likes of Shanchez and Dembele, Mou will have no right to complain about us being not at the level Manchester United should be. Our own fault if we aren't going for players like that when they become available.
Nathan Ake? Who? And for £20m? How the feck do Chelsea do it.
