Transfer Tweets - Summer 2017 | Keep it on topic

This is so wrong. I have been following caf for 3 yrs now and he predicted everything correctly. Even when there were no credible links to Pogba last year, he came out and said we definitely have a chance.

And now when he got ag7 wrong just because of the turn of events, people label him as a bullshitter. Give the guy some break!
Leave Acquire Me alone!

We need to spen over 200m.
I don't know where these guys get these set figures from.
I;m fairly sure we'll spen over 200m if we have to.
We need a LB.

I don't think you'd be sticking your neck out by saying £200 million is the budget for the squad as it stands, if players then go, I'd assume these funds could be used for whatever else Jose might want, but signing too many players all at once could do more harm than good anyway.

Course he will be. You don't think Phil Jones is going to suddenly start playing every match do you?
Does Jones have to play every match so that Lindelöf's not first choice? Were people expecting Bailly, when he was bought, to be first choice? Now we know… I think the opposite might happen with Lindelöf, people expecting him to start ahead of Jones or Blind and then… Besides being two right center-backs, the pairing Bailly-Lindelöf looks raw to start the Premier League, I would say. Unless Lindelöf shows himself from the start head and shoulders above the rest, I doubt Mourinho will risk it so soon, he might just ease him up in home games with lots of possession or the League Cup, first.

200m?

30m Lindelöf
60m Morata
40m Perisic
40m Fabinho

still 30m left for a surprise signing hopefully

So Chelsea can buy players and send them to Hull to get them assimilated in the league.
These players will play against every other top 6 team and cost them points while they can't play against Chelsea.
Brilliant.

I dont get why people get on Pilib de Brun's dick the way they tend to. Doesnt seem to be a muppet at all. Always says "this is what I've been told" followed by a reason why said thing could happen and also has a lot of people within the game (including ex-United employees) as regulars on his podcast. The fact he was spot on about everything last year has given him a pass as well.

Maybe in the cups. They're in the Championship

A radio show on RAC1 will start in 15 mins, talking about summer transfers. I'm sure we will hear some news regarding Morata. :)

Edit: Seems it's a show full of Barca reporters but hopefully we will hear something.

The entire Leicester team was shit. Still he managed 10 goals and 7 assists. Perisic had like 11 goals and 10 assists and everyone is okay with us spending 50m on him. Mahrez is way better and younger. I think he needs a fresh start with a team competing for trophies and he will up his game.
50 mill is part of inflation, the markets gone mad.

I agree he is a better player but I don't see him signing for us therefore not getable.

Even if inflation we are talking too much. Its like us spending 50m on Zaha in this window if he scored only 11 goals and contributed with 11 assists last year. Average player. Never United quality.

Tudor is releasing Sneijder from Galatasaray.

A cheeky bid?

It's just a little bit 45 years of age and unable to run, it's still good, it's still good....

So far we have only media gossip to suggest the market has gone THAT mad. No average players have actually been signed for such absurd sums yet, but somehow a lot of people seem to have normalized 50m fees for squad players already.
