Kane is class, it's a funny to still see posters doubting him and calling him things like a poacher and a big fish in a small pond.

He is literally the perfect number 9 and unfortunately we have no chance of signing him :(

For some reason, whenever I see either Kane, Ronaldo or Messi mentioned I automatically get a headache. Need to see a doctor about it.

I don't see him as a poacher, he can score more than just tap ins. I see him as just a goalscorer. He's not a creative striker, he can't dribble, he's no a quick one-two sort of guy. He's a shooting machine, who probably has the highest shots average in the league if I were to guess.

As I see him as just a goalscorer, I think it's harsh to imply there is a huge gulf between him and Lukaku, who is also just a goalscorer, with similarly impressive numbers.

Caftards:

When we are linked with a good player:
"He would be the perfect singing for us if we get him"

When that same player is linked with some other team or is signed by some other team:
"Oh well, he wasn't a Jose type player anyway. There are plenty of other good players like him anyway"

Been mentioned so often on the Caf as well. Can't see why this is even spoken of since:
1. Levy is a p*ick
2. Spurs won't sell him - regardless of the fee, if they can't replace him, why sell?
3. He likes Spurs, is very happy there and just doesn't want to move

So we can speculate all we want but this is like trying to get in a move for Ronaldo or Messi or Totti. Some players are just so wedded to their clubs that it's pointless to contemplate.

Next...

Hmm, probably. Levy is certainly a prick, and Kane is certainly happy at Spurs and not looking to move. Take issue with your second point though - if they got a massive fee for him then of course they could replace him - for instance they could probably sign James and Morata from Real for what they would get for Kane.

Sky Sources have struck again - AC Milan want to sign Costa.

Amazing how quickly their sources have gathered information just a matter of hours after Costa leaking the Conte message.

Can they be blacklisted please?

So he's a big fish in a big pond? Or is he a small fish in a small pond? Or is he a small fish in a big pond? (Excuse the analogy but you know what I'm trying to get at...)

there are very few who say that. If people say it, they would say the same even if we sign the player

Quite an interesting article on F365 today (albeit by United hater-in-chief Sarah Winterburn): http://www.football365.com/news/morata-belotti-just-go-big-and-flash-for-harry

Tl;dr United should go big for Harry Kane. And I have to say it's hard to disagree with. If we're fannying around considering spending the best part of £100million on Lukaku and the like, why not make an absolutely eye-watering bid for Kane?
Because Spurs won't sell and Kane won't force a move.

So Morata, James and Perisic are world class players? 1 of these players can't even get into the bench and another one has scored just 12 goals in Serie A in 47 matches.
There's a lot of middle ground between average and world class. Those players are very good, much better than a lot of our players. If you honestly think Morata is average you must think half our team are utter shit.

I was thinking this too, United have obviously leaked it too the press this week just like Griezmann they all reported the same story at the same time.

I hope this isn't going to be a 'no value in the market' summer I feel like we are looking to be busy but in reality are holding off because of the prices. I can see us pulling an Arsenal ''well we tried guys!''

I don't think Kane has this amazing all round game at all, personally. He does have a better touch than Lukaku, as do I.

When I think of Kane, I just think of a man who shoots every time he gets the ball within 30 yards. It's clear to me that he is stats driven, although there was one time in early May where I saw him pass the ball in the final third, so that's something. But no, he's far behind even the likes of Welbeck in terms of link play. He's a goalscorer. And plays for a far better team than Lukaku, probably pound for pound the best team in the PL actually.

Also, when making the point about flat-track bullying, I will again refer to Kane's England form, and his Spurs Euro form, which have been poor. He's looked totally out of his depth in the CL and even the EL quite often, as he did in the Euros before being dropped for Sturridge if I recall correctly.

Kane being stats driven is such a good quality though - one of his biggest ones actually - because in his case that translates into a determination, almost an obsession to score goals. Think there are fewer players around like that. Look at our front players last season and the amount of chances they missed. A player hell bent on scoring simply wouldn't miss some of the chances ours did.

@RobinLFC Although that account wasn't on blacklist but they're still a tweet aggregator accounts and they didn't even provided the source. Please refrain from posting tweets from accounts like that.

No problem.

Just because we get fleeced doesn't mean they aren't the right players. It is up to the manager to decide who is right for his team, not us.

Good point, other clubs are spending the money and you don't see their fans crying because their clubs have spent it they are just happy they can compete and get their players who will pay back more in success.

No chance. Jose finished 6th last season and we were shocking. He will not suffer another season like that, if it's the board to blame. He'll walk and reveal all to the fans, his ego will now allow him to take the fall if we go into next season with the same squad, pretty much.

I do, however, suspect we're down to '2nd tier' names on the list given to Woodward now. And we may even end up on the 3rd tier.

The worry is if the first choice on the list were virtually impossible to get, even if SAF were here. The 2nd tier might still be good players and more realistic, except every Tom, Dick and Harry will be after them.
