And James has great ability tbh, and I honestly don't think he's inferior to Griezmann at his best, who I feel is overrated somewhat. That said, I'd have thought we could get a better deal .
When the alternative is giving that money to Inter for Perisic and not getting Mbappe anyway then I'm all for spending that money on James.

Would be incredible difficult to do a deal i agree. But he is the next best or even better alternative to Griezmann.
James, Morata, Fabinho, Lindeloff and Costa would be a sensational summer. Pretty much addresses all the major issues in our squad.

I am not sure we are after him mate. Jose only allows a very limited amount of flashy players in a squad that don't put a shift in or contribute defensively.
