John Stones just played for Everton this weekend after a transfer request and he'll be there all season, why would we need to keep De Gea in the stands all season?

Keep De Gea for the year and spend that time identifying the keeper we genuinely want for the foreseeable future. Or we could have spent the entire summer finding the right keeper. Now we're left with literally two options.
