It's a lot of money but our overall spend will basically just be this transfer after all the outgoings. £45m or whatever it converts as and it's not like it affects us one bit (the club or us as fans). All we need to do is hope he's a real quality starlet.

Sugar daddy clubs like PSG can afford to pay large fees and wages but for most clubs it's one or the other.

LVG said we're not buying players who haven't been scouted before. Just because his name hasn't been mentioned in the papers doesn't mean we're not entirely confident he can do the job. You don't drop that kind of money on a vague gamble.

That potential fee will include a lot of clauses such as us winning the league, the CL and goals scored etc. It's unlikely to ever be that amount, and if it is it means we'll have done fecking brilliantly as a team and he's been a huge success.

At this point the idea of us passing up on the offer of Pedro is a worse thought than messing the deal up.
