I wonder if there is a German version of Redcafe where all the posters go "Sky are full of shite" like we do?

Actually there is.

Here is one of several quotes from a poster there

''It's not the British media anymore, can I Say it now? F*ck you United, Fu*k you, you son of a f*cking b*tch, ugly kid Louie!''

Besides the fact that I want to keep him, biggest satisfaction is the ugly fat guys dumb face when we kick him out of CL WITH Müller in our team...

Read the whole conversation before getting involved yeah ;)

I did. You wanted to ban Marca from this thread. You then got told they actually called a few transfers correctly, to which you responded you hadn't heard of those players anyway. So again, we should ban them from this thread because you haven't heard of the players involved?

And why did I ask for them to be banned?

Why are we going for these marquee signings that we have no chance of getting, while we turn our nose up at a good player in Pedro?.
Woodward is like a new Perez.

I think that's an overreaction. United have as much chance of buying Ronaldo, Bale, Messi and Neymar as Chelsea, City, PSG or anyone else who could afford their transfer fee and wages. I think United would actually have the upper hand if Ronaldo were ever to move back to England. Is everyone forgetting we bought Di Maria last year? had Falcao, bought Mata and Herrera and have just prised BFS from Munich. Madrid, Barcelona and Bayern don't NEED to sell their top players, it's got feck all to do with who comes calling for them.

United can match any fee and any wages offered by City or Chelsea and I find it seriously strange our supporters are always so pessimistic about our transfer dealings. The papers make our dealing out to be far worse than they actually are. The way United dumped Moyes so quickly just shows how quickly they would do the same to Ed Woodward if he was bumbling and bungling in the same way.

I was taking the piss man

Why do you continually believe everything you read?

I'd rather us go for Muller and end up signing nobody than go for nobody and sign nobody in fairness. You cant win the lottery if you dont put the numbers on, I suppose.

I don't understand why we insist on trying to sign players from the 6-7 biggest clubs in the World - you know the ones with the finances to turn us down. Go for the best players in the second best clubs (in Spain - any other club than the big 2)

It's Woody trying to put us up there with those clubs as they don't have a problem coming to us to get their players although I agree there a more realistic targets out there that would be much easier to sign than Muller, Neymar and Bale

Raises the profile of the club, bigger names probably mean better sponsors and marketing etc.

We've signed Di Maria and Schweinstiger in the last year from the clubs you talk about. Plus we don't insist on it. We buy from other clubs like Torino, Southampton, PSV..

Whst the point? Bayern wont sell.

We said that about Ronaldo, Barca said that about Fabregas, Juve said that about Vidal............

If you don't ask, you don't get. It's a bit like asking lots of different attractive women out, one will eventually say yes. Probably when you least expect it to. Although you will probably end up paying for it.

Our cause hasn't helped by him starting and scoring in both of their league games thus far :(

Indeed. When he is in top form and showing it right now, on the pitch, even if the money is tempting, a manager would be thinking, "If Muller goes, we will miss those goals".
In comparison, we have Rooney, who can't score a goal - if we get a high bid for him, it would be tempting to let him leave.
