Living his last hours....ffs...Spanish press surely know how to dramatize things. English press should at least learn this instead of spending all their time using different forex converters from Euro to Pound all day.

There's no way Real Madrid would give us one of their star players in a swap deal when they can sign De Gea to a pre-contract in January. The Ramos speculation was a fun time while it lasted and at times it really looked as though we're in with a serious chance to get him, but in reality Perez was never going to let Ramos leave in the same summer he forced Casillas out of the club.

Anyways, our firm stance on De Gea has been a huge positive this summer. His transfer was viewed as an ''only a matter of time'', but now things are far different. Whether De Gea leaves on a free or not, you've got to give credit to Woody and Van Gaal for how they've handled things so far.

i agree, we finally showed we are not to be messed about with which is fantastic.

First trying to get KP Boateng and now signing Aquilani :nervous: Not really a fan of this type of signing by Jorge Jesus. Prefer to give a chance to youth rank players.

So Pep is not going to City then...

I think Pep wants us next. Maybe City have been told to forget him? Odd move from them otherwise.

There are zero quotes from Guardiola about liking to manage City in the future.......... United, on the other hand..... he already vocalised his interest.

Just sayin'

Oh, and Pep was the natural successor to LvG at both Barca and Bayern. Coincidence?
