Oh it sucks being -8 hours from The UK. All the news is in the morning and then nothing for most of the day.

Turkish prison, ala "Midnight Express" http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0077928/?ref_=nv_sr_6

I like your thinking man

Thanks man.. i think so anyway - better than being boring & sitting on the fence with this one :D
Hang on...

I thought your post was in reference to the plot of Taken. That's why I posted the Taken 2 line about him going to Istanbul.

Wow, your imagination really is vivid. You've basically just come up with the plot of a Hollywood blockbuster :)

I wouldn't sell him unless we got somebody in.

Even so, that's a long stretch at this stage. And since we don't have anyone with at least some experience to challenge Rooney's position bar Chicharito, it's better to keep him around and create some havoc in matches where Rooney is totally useless up front.

@lequipe -Hugo Lloris will sign for Manchester United when the Spanish De Gea has joined Real Madrid. Decisive days.

I'd be happy to see Januzaj, Pereira, Wilson, Lingard and McNair all go on loan.

They may get a few games here this season, but a full season out in the prem would do all of them the world of good

Not sure this would be the best for him and for us. Playing 4 competitions needs at least 2 players for each positions and he seems to be fitter than last year so I would like to keep him
We have Mata and Valencia and maybe Pedro so loaning Januzaj to a premier league team is a good plan. Even at Sunderland he will learn how to fight for the team and what is like down in the bottom half of the table. They are still a good team with good supporters so could be a very good chance for Januzaj to show what he is capable off when starting more games.

Januzaj desperately needs a loan move but Sunderland is one of the last clubs I'd consider sending him to. They're destined for a woeful season and I can't remember the last time they played remotely attractive football.

Before pre-season I'd have been all for the loan, but seeing as Januzaj looked quite lively and good for us, I'm a little miffed. As long as we're bringing someone else in I don't mind, but if it's just Pedro, I think we're going to be left worryingly short.

I am a bit mystified by this supposed "lively, impressive" pre-season form shown by Januzaj. Before that goal against Barcelona, he looked really poor in pre-season actually. A full season loan to a Prem side where he would get regular football could do him a lot of good.

Dicks relationship with LVG must be the key . We wouldn't send him if we wasn't going to see him play most weeks

The kid needs game time. Atleast at Sunderland he would play every game which is what he needs. The last thing we need to do is send him to a mid table club where they want him to fight for his position, say Everton.

I had hoped that Januzaj would stay with us this season, especially since we should have a lot more games, but Sunderland isn't the worst place for him to go. They have a bit of a pace and creative deficit, while players we've sent on loan in the past ended up having extremely productive spells, which is a rarity for us.

Oh, it was a ref on "Taken" of course man & i copped your reference to the sequel too (respect to ya) - just thought i'd take the scenario onto a whole new plain brother :)

Would much prefer him to be in and around our match day squads. He can play a number of different positions so he can fill in if we have an injuries. He would also be a great player to come from the bench if he can continue to show his pre-season form.
If he plays regularly for them then i think it would be more beneficial for him to go on loan.

Would be strange to loan out Januzaj.
How so? I dont think he will be guaranteed a lot of game time this season and given that he didn't play a whole lot last season he risks stunting his development. A season at a club like Sunderland where he would undoubtedly be the most gifted footballer could do him wonders.

We are in a extra competition this season and unless we plan to bring 2 more players in, there is enough space for him to get game time in the front 4 considering he can play any of the slots. Even more so if we sell Hernandez.

He'll definitely get game time, would agree on that, but just don't know if it would be enough for him. I think in the long run it would be better for him to have a season as the main man in a team thats struggling.
