Manchester United fans would prefer for the club to sell David de Gea this summer - http://as.com/diarioas/2015/07/31/english/1438341930_593627.html…

Absolutely. I am a MUFC fan and I absolutely want our best player sold without delay.
And after we have sold our best player, we should identify our 2nd best player and sell him, too.

I mean, what next "Barca fans would prefer the club to sell Messi?"
Or how about, "Madrid fans would prefer the club to sell Ronaldo?"

Who exactly do you see as potential signings that we could get for a fair price ?
We apparently have the ambition to compete for the league this season, a "fair price" shouldn't exactly be our priority. Otamendi would instantly improve the quality in the back, anyone would admit that and the guy is certainly available. I refuse to believe our scouts have been unable to find somebody who would be able to strengthen us up front or at least add competition that's out there for a "fair price".

Good signing for West Brom.

Brenton was a bit of a cnut for signing him in the first place, then basically never using him.

He probably at one stage realized that if he was gonna do ok - maybe Lambert wasn't the player to use

Let's play 'Spot Coco the Clown'

The fact that between Benitez, the fans, and the media, none of them seem that desperate for De Gea makes it even more irritating.

We're absolutely desperate to keep him, and Madrid (the team he's desperate to sign for) seem very so-so about him. It looks like they're only really interested because he's Spanish and they thought they could get him on the cheap.

cnuts.

I don't think their fans get excited by a goalie. Not a sexy position. Who wants to buy a goalie shirt? They want some big name striker or midfielder. You know the positions they don't need anybody.

Or it just a jedi mind trick, letting the opponent know that your product has not been placed on top of the media bucket list. I firmly believe De Gea is on top of the Perez bucket list. We havent seen much activity from Madrid like recent years and a lot is covered in the media about this De Gea saga. There have been several phases from having an alleged 20 milion bid, to a ramos/De Gea swap deal, to a 'we are happy to wait one year', to a 'De Gea is not needed'. They are just chasing their own tail and United played a major key in this with a firm position by not backing down an inch for their demands. They are after De Gea thats for sure. Perez is probably drooling himself to sleep every night holding a De Gea picture to his heart.

De Gea was the most popular selling shirt out of players who werent new signings last year.
That's our fans. The same ones who weren't bothered if Di Maria was a pretty boy or not and bought his shirt. Unlike according to Perez Madrid fans thought he was too ugly to buy his shirt.
