Those are inflated prices from clubs that were either desperate or inefficient about how they spent their transfer funds. 8m for Evans is a good price, since we usually get less than what other clubs do for similar players. The important bit will be he's off our wage books and we can make way for another defender.
We got £4m from Nani £4m from rvp and £1m for henriquez. If we get £8m for Evans £3m for Valdes £5m for Rafa and if we get £5m for everyone else we sell (Powell lindegard maybe) we will get £30m from sale of deadwood. Not bad for our standards
Agreed. This streamlining of our squad can only be good for standards. There will be nowhere to hide in this squad when Louis is finished.

8 Evans, 4 RVP, 4 Nani (actually not sure for the last two), 1 Henriquez for a total of 17m.
Net spent: circa 56m.
If we sell Di Maria and De Gea well and punt on acquiring a striker, we have a good chance of ending with a neutral net spend.

I don't think that we'll get much money from the remaining player (less than 10m IMO), and we'll spent 35m or so in Otamendi. If we don't sign a striker, our net spent would be around 80m or so. We definitely have enough money there to sign a superstar if we want.

I don't see us accepting anything less than £50M for ADM. Anything less than that should include Lucas.

If Di Maria had any doubts about staying at United, then get rid of him and use the funds to get De Bryune before he signs for City.
I have no doubt he will end up there.
As good as De Bryune is, I think if we let ADM go we would be looking to replace him with someone who has pace.
I agree, I think LvG likes pace in the wide areas.
De Bryune is not Di Maria fast, but he is fast enough. Also he is a very intelligent player than a lot of wingers around. Really, really want him at United.
