It'd be a big blow for Dortmund if they miss out on Geis. Then again if they're in for him (and it's pretty certain that they are), I can't see Geis rejecting the chance to work with Tuchel again in a club of Dortmund's magnitude.

Geis was at the DFB Pokal Final too. Geis will probably push for the move to Dortmund with good reason tbf.

Borussia Dortmund were offered Atletico Madrid striker Mario #Mandzukic, but total package of €40m was too expensive, 'SportBild' reports.

Arsenal competing Inter Milan for Geoffrey Kondogbia, according to Sky Italia. Inter, in contact, want a deal at €25m, Monaco want €35m.

Here's the english version of @J-Stander's tweet for better understanding.

Di Marzio: Cuadrado’s agent will meet with Chelsea: Inter & Roma are interested.

Talk about sickening. He only made 14 appearances in all comps since he signed in Jan & the vast majority were from the bench. Yet he has a Prem title & League Cup winners medal to his name too..

If he joins some Italian club its weird that transfer path Fiorentina ->Chelsea (after 6 months) -> Italian club.

United have to start acting like a big club now. You don't sell off your best players to Real Madrid under the guise of them wanting to return home, near to family and stupid excuses like that. If Bale becomes an important player at Real Madrid, you can be sure he won't move to England any time soon under such excuses.

It's not just United - it's the whole Premier League. As much as it would benefit United if we see the likes of Aguero and Costa leaving, it effects the league badly. The Premier League had become feeders for Barcelona and Real Madrid, and all wer're getting back is players they no longer want. Henry was past his peak, but we have seen the likes of Suarez, Bale, Ronaldo, Fabregas, Modric all leaving during their peak to them - it would be great if teams can stand up and say no to them. Kroos aside, Bayern doesnt seem to have the same issue.

So what is it that you want to do in that case and to act like a big club? Force him to sign a contract? Keep him another year unhappy and then let him walk free? We have to accept that there are bigger and stronger clubs than United in this world, and Madrid is one of them

Didn't Everton and United agree an £8m deal last summer, only for them to drop their offer to £5m on deadline day? Pretty despicable from Everton, that, yet hardly merited a word in the press.

Wasn't it something to do with his salary? I'm sure I read that they couldn't afford his salary request of £60k+ in addition to the £8m.

@Elfatmoh: COPE: MUFC are willing to offer Real Madrid €150m for Bale & Varane but their interest has been met with no intention to sell.

Agreed - surely our response re De Gea should have been "not for sale." If they want our (arguably) best player for the last two years they should have to make it worth out while. I understand needing to take the players wishes into consideration in terms of whether best to cut loose, but it always feel like Real Madrid pull our pants down over transfers.

When?

People keep saying this but when has this happened?

They paid £80m for ronaldo who desperately wanted to leave for them. At the time this was 20m more than the World record free, v it wad a ridiculous amount at the time and took over 5 years for it to be equalled (in fact with inflation taken into account it still hasn't been equalled ).

We paid a lot for di maria, but at the time he was one of best players in the world and they weren't desperate to sell. For a player of his quality in this day and age we probably 'overpaid' by 10m or so. But with PSG street him as well, that's just the way it goes.

Didnt they give us like £4m loan fee for Hernandez or something? And pay 100% wages? Think we did pretty well out of that deal.

Only time we've ever been done hard by madrid was Beckham. But that was more us wanting rid, and him being in last season if contact than anything else.

Is not getting enough for DDG is entirely down to our own making. Wet should have had him sign a new contract when we were dangling a fat 5 year contract in front of nanis face.

20m for a keeper in last year of contact who will certainly leave at the end of it is not unreasonable, even if it is galling. It's oir own fault

How could we fit Bale/Di Maria/Depay/Rooney into LvG's system?
Easy.
one of f two things. Firstly, the most likely is ADM will be fecked off to PSG where he belongs with the other mercinaries.

If by some miracle we keep him, it will be bale on one wing, ADM on the other with Depay providing cover (that's for your @Vidic_In_Moscow ) for either of them when needed.

Rooney striker

We drop the one(s) that doesn't perform. We need to start being ruthless if we want to keep up with the top teams in regards to both team selections and transfers. I certainly thing we need another natural wide player, and shouldn't be relying on the fact that Young has stepped up for half a season. Depay, Young and Di Maria are not enough, and that's assuming the latter stays, and actually plays out wide.

€10m for Tevez seems too cheap, even with his age. Atletico stated as possible destination. Long way back to Argentina!

AS say Juventus would be ready to sell Carlos Tevez (32 in July) for €10m or even less. Has one year left on contract.

What's the point? Keep hold of him until his contract runs out, he's heading back to Argentina anyway? Still performing at a high level, it would be stupid to get rid for a measly sum like that.

Makes sense the rumblings of Tevez moving on once again have started, little toad never stays anywhere long.

And to think some thought he would still be here had we signed him in 2009, delusional.
