Varane signed a contract extension last year that keeps him at the Real Madrid till 2020. Bale is 2 years into a 6 year contract. De Gea can leave on a free next year. Real Madrid will hardly be quaking in their boots.

Seems like the rumours about Griezmann are resurfacing once again. Apparently both sides are considering paying his release clause, which I don't find very believable as the clause is for 65 million euros.
I doubt they are.. but we can't keep banging the "biggest club in the world" when we want to sign players from the other top clubs but they stand firm whilst we give in as soon as Madrid batter their eye lids at us.

Tut, tut, we all know it doesn't work like that when the utterly irresistible Real Madrid come calling.
If they do, then fair play to them. Sometimes it's a good thing to evaluate a player earlier and sell him before his value decreases even more. I'd imagine that Cuadrado's price hasn't dropped much if at all after only six months at Chelsea, so if Mourinho doesn't think that Cuadrado would be able to establish himself they should sell him this summer and recoup their money.
It's a very risky strategy, but I wish United had tried it more times. Usually when we decide to offload a player that we don't want anymore, the whole world already knows he's useless and we're forced to sell him for peanuts or let him leave on a free. Sometimes we give way too much time to players that are not good enough.

If he leaves I'd expect us to sign a couple of attacking players. Really, really want Griezmann now. My muppet signing of the summer.
So according to all these rumours you could sign Howedes, Geis and Vietto for approximately £28million. If true you wonder what some clubs are playing at. If a team like Liverpool or Spurs bought those three it would improve them dramatically.
