There's a suggestion from a few 'Arsenal ITKs' that we have a deal in place with Benzema, that will only come to pass if Madrid sign Reus. Please, please, please be true.
I can't see United, Chelsea or City just allowing that to happen and any of those 3 can blow Arsenal out of the water in terms of wages offered.

Benzema always struck me as Arsenal's marquee signing for this window if Real sign a replacement. Right now they don't look like signing a replacement and if waiting for Benzema is the plan for Arsenal, you could end up missing out on both him and Lacazette.

I sent Samuel Luckhurst the info on RvP deal by Press Association. He's gone quiet after replying to my initial tweet

He's probably typing out his exclusive article right now!

From MEN live Utd transfer feed

Via PA's Paul Hirst: "United have still not agreed a fee with Fenerbahce for the transfer of Robin van Persie even though the striker has already been unveiled by the Turkish giants."

:lol::lol::lol:

Funny thing is, just before my tweet to him he was telling someone on twatter how they won't survive being a journo

Sounds like these Arsenal guys are just trying to sound ITK while covering all bases just in case. The typical ITK rumour is the one that cannot possibly be proved otherwise. When Benzema stays at Madrid, they'll just say ''well, Madrid didn't sign Reus''.

The chances of Reus leaving this season are close to zero IMO.

Lacazette doesn't seem a good fit from what I've heard about him, we're already a team of midgets. Benzema or Cavani would be the dream, though as you're finding it's ridiculously difficult to buy a top level striker at the moment. If we can't get one of those two I assume that Wenger's just going to stick with what he has, and maybe sign another central midfielder.

can't say i remeber him at all

He conceded a penalty vs Liverpool in one of the cups. Also he I think had a goal line clearance against some team. I don't think he played a lot and was sold to fiorentina as part of the nastasic deal

Can't see it happening myself, Perez loves Benzema, Benzema loves Madrid. It was happening, I'd expect the Spanish newspapers to have it covered already.

Good move for the MLS but career wise a bit terrible, no? Isn't he still like mid 20's and a regular in the Villarreal side?

Shame how it's coming to an end with Evans, few years back I'd have thought he'd be our no.1 CB and here towards the very end of career.

Oh, you mean that he played at Anfield.

No it was the league cup semi first leg at etihad. But he also played the second leg I think. But I think he played only because the week before the first leg was the FA cup match in which scholes came back and kompany was suspended that game. I don't think he was a starter

I hope we're not buying Mr Teke just so Liverpool don't get him...

Benteke is a strange one. I wouldn't be happy with him at United, yet I wouldn't be happy with him at Liverpool either.

Evans in a deal for stones would be good business

To be fair I do not see the logic in signing Stones when we have Smalling, Jones, McNair and Blackett... We need different type of CB. More experienced.

Bryan Swanson: Feyenoord's Jordy Clasie expected to have Southampton medical in next 24 hours. Fee around 12 million euros, 4 year deal.

Arsene will never part with 50m euros for a striker with Walcott, Giroud and Welbeck already there.
