It is like the French media is wishing a transfer, trying to link PSG President's last year quotes and try to make 1+1 = 4.789

And I think the English media is just ticked with Woody and United for keeping them in the dark over all these transfers and cutting them off completely that they are all too willing to try and egg this transfer on..

Hence we probably see AdM called a Flop, try to quote a low price to show United and Woody in poor light. Try and create a storyline of how him and his family don't like it in Manchester. How they dont speak the language and how AdM is being left out..

Di Maria has come out and said multiple times how he wants to stay and prove his critics.

We are on the verge of creating a squad worthy of our stature and ADM is part of that vision.

Even if we do end up selling him for some reason, do you think Ed Woodward, the man who was responsible initially for all those sponsors being brought in, would not see the potential to make PSG pay through their nose or at least ask a few pieces of their squad back as a bargaining?!

For people pointing to how bad we sell some of our players for low prices, we offloaded RvP and Nani for small fee because we wanted to clear their big wages. I heard without Falcao, RvP and Nani, we save about 30M£ in yearly wages.

But United went big on Di Maria. He is a British record signing and a marquee signing. No way are we going to give up on him that easy or sell him for less than what we paid for.

If we are haggling with Madrid on a player with just a year left on his contract, why would we even consider a bid way less than what we paid for from a club which the world knows can pay what they want for a player with years left on his contract??!

Absolute non story created and willed on by media to make us and woody look bad at this.

For crying out loud, Woody just pulled off three signings in 3 days and some still believe we'll just roll over for some Nueve Rich club, who also are going to be a contender for the big ears?!

By Thursday, expect our manager to reject all claims about this. If we do sell, expect us to recuperate the fee we paid plus some.

I know this Gaitan story is like the chewing gum stuck under the sole of our boots and is just not going away, but don't think this is happening.

Now, if they offer Thiago Silva AND Lucas Moura for AdM... Maybe we can think about it.. ;)

I was wondering when the link to Romero will appear. It just makes sense as he's the Argentina first choice keeper and Van Gaal knows him very well from their time at AZ Alkmaar.

Good and logical post. I'm a worrier, though.

Yep, he was key for LVG during his Alkmaar time IIRC.

Anwyay nothing on Di Marzio's timeline yet.

We already have Di Maria and Rojo.. Once we sign Otamendi, that would be three Argentine players.. Then we sign Romero..

I think I got it!! It is all a big long master plan by woody to have enough Argentine players to finally land Messi!! :p

Romero is shit. Is he any better than Lindegaard? From Cillessen to Romero :wenger:

Who is next? Thomas Kraft? FFS wake the feck up

why the feck would we get Romero he's complete trash might aswell keep anders instead and make him number 2 goalkeeper.

Roma one step away from signing Romero as per this guy.

The other tweet above that says Milan in for Ibra.. Hope it is true.. That way Cavani stays where he is and the rumor of him joining us dies quickly albeit only till the next window!!

But at least a reprieve till the next window..

Neuer/Courtois or bust ehh ?

i think there are alot better options out there than Romero. Lets be real. Going from De gea to Romero would be like going from Ronaldo to Valencia all over again. I think even Navas would be a better option. But hey..what do i know anyway

I'd be happy with however LvG is comfortable with.

Hoping the reports in France about Di Maria are similar to those in the English media reporting on Fabregas to us a few years back. Where it was like "he's close, he's talking, he wants to come, just a few days now ..." and then they back track when it was never really close to begin with.

IF, and I think it is a big if, I don't think Romero would be coming in as first choice, it seems there is a lot of talk of Valdes leaving, so I think that would be the option if it happened

Raiola is his agent to top it off.

I beleive Di marzio said that we only offer him a backup role in his article but 2 million salary.

I hardly ever complain on this site about ins and outs. and i largely agree with van gaal and all of his decisions. I just personally think its a waste of a signing if it were to happen and would rather stick with lindegaard. but if this is who Hoek wants. who am i to judge. but cant a guy complain in the twitter thread :(
