As for Benteke - the wouldn't mind him here as a backup, but definitely not for the prices mentioned. I think he'd be a great option against the small teams where he can use his physicality and pace to great effect. Benteke and Fellaini would make Arsenal cry. (Although I am sure its not the football we want to be playing)

Seen a few Dutch and Ajax games last season, great shot stopper with very quick reflexes, but very questionable on crosses or catching. All in all it would not be the end of the world if we signed him and we might get him for a hell of a lot cheaper than the likes of Lloris.

Yeah but Rio and Vidic were really bad by the time they left, shown by how they ended up performing at QPR and Inter respectively. I loved both of them much more than RVP, too - although he seemed to love United. The "we'll be back" interview!

Euros, not pounds. About £21m isn't it? Not bad at all if true.
 
Underwhelming singing for Chelsea. 30 millions pounds as well. Jesus this guy has sat on the bench for most of his carreer hasnt he?
 
Think Pedro is very much a system player. He works in Barca's tactical setup but I doubt he can do it in another club. Not a frightening signing by any means.

Its EUROS and he is a quality player, not his fault hes on the bench since they bought Suarez
 
He's fast and he can finish. That is all. Never worth €30m. Good deal for Barca.

Meh haven't watched Barca a lot but everytime I've seen him last year he was pretty underwhelming. And I fully know it's Euros. Still too much.
