Sterling's Man City deal will be worth around £200,000-a-week or £50million for a five-year contract.
That's shocking, imagine what Pogba or De Bruyne will ask now.

City fans won't think that way. Some won't even realise how wrong it could all go.£200k a week for a 20 year old prospect, which is all he is at this point, would be the single most stupid piece of transfer business ever.
Sane ones will, and some of them do exist.City fans won't think that way. Some won't even realise how wrong it could all go.

Might just be a cover but he's said a few times now that he wants to stay so I'd be pretty disappointed if we sold him. It'd be a whole lot worse if we sold him and replaced him with fecking Gaitan as well. There would be absolutely no point to selling Di Maria. It's not as if anyone of similar quality is on the market like.
I'd be amazed if that happens.
Wouldn't believe it, remember them saying Shaw was on crazy wages also and he shot that down.
Also, its going to take a lot more than that to top the Andy Carroll purchase for worst transfer business ever
We wont sell him for €60-65m. We paid €83m by todays exchange. Also, he was commercially very good for us - top selling shirt.Might just be a cover but he's said a few times now that he wants to stay so I'd be pretty disappointed if we sold him. He owns the club at 28.So if his trajectory plays out like City will be hoping for and he's on 200k at age 20, what will he be on in a few years? 300k at 24-25?
Unreal.
Yep i was thinking that, whats he going to be earning when he's like 28!, the mind boggles. So if his trajectory plays out like City will be hoping for and he's on 200k at age 20, what will he be on in a few years? 300k at 24-25?

Yep for Verratti. Or 80m.
Jon LeGossip
Who is this guy?
This. Lad ain't going anywhereHe may well be their top target. But as with De Gea and Real we are in no mood to bend over for them
Yep for Verratti. Or 80m.
More like Verratti + £40m.Lucas Moura + cash for DiMaria, i'd tell tham that, take it or leave it.
Never heard of them. Are they a big media outlet and are they reliable?A RMCSport journalist.
Lucas Moura for me, he'd destroy this league imo. He's also a very similar player to Depay so Depay on one wing, Moura on the other, teams wouldn't know what hit them.More like Verratti + £40m.
