The way I see things at the moment, after a quick analysis of news content online:
Interesting post. I would assess the state of play a bit differently, given the scraps of info to hand...
Darmian: Almost there, a lot of people saying it's only now down to the medical (Likelihood of joining us this window): 90%
Only 90%... 99, more like.
Otamendi:Some sources are now saying a deal is almost there, and that is why Real are out of the picture. Don't know for sure though: 45%
Hmm, would not put it that high, but would be great....
Ramos: Who knows. I think this one will end with him signing a new contract: 10%
Yes I agree; think it was all games and we will end up losing Dave and Ramos staying put.
Schweinsteiger: It's looking likely, but not sure about the recent news that he wants to sit down with Real. The Di Maria / Muller / Gotze developments seem to be complicating things 35%
5% I say; am not too keen on this one;
Schneiderlin: All a bit quiet. Don't know if that's good or bad, but seems to be linked to the Schweinsteiger situation: 45%
In my view this is a done deal, 80% anyway...
Lacazette: All the talk seems to be of Liverpool. We should be stepping our interest up 5%
... don't know. Again would be amazing.

No he hasn't, 'World Class' should recognize some sort of consistency, Di Maria has always been a cracking winger capable of creating things from nothing but he has never been consistent and therefore never been 'world class'.

PS: World Class is a nasty expression.

He has been their best attacking player after Messi. Aguero is somehow terrible for Argentina. cant remember the last time he performed well in a game.

In a terrible attack, obviously if you compare him to Palacio who replaced him Di Maria is a superior.

Schweinsteiger and Muller and we can talk.

Seriously though, it's probably a similar stand off to the De Gea/Ramos one.. 'You scratch my back, I'll scratch yours' scenario.
Di Maria + 20m = Muller + Schweinsteiger would be an excellent deal for us IMO.

Of course the last time a swap deal happened was in the fans imagination.

Good call really, only has Crescenzi as competition.

I actually had to google him and the first thing that came up was a restaurant in Dublin. The guy has played like 1 game for Roma and has been consistently loaned out. Do you follow his progress?

Tomorrow medicals for @ValonBera with @WatfordFC

Valon Behrami to Watford.

Shrewd move! Always rated him.

SKY Italia confirms #Augsburg's Baba Rahman has rejected #Chelsea's offer. Baba has chosen #ASRoma.

Excellent decision.

Yohan Cabaye having medical ahead of Crystal Palace move #SSNHQ

Great coup for Palace.

Is it just me or are some of the smaller clubs/promoted teams making some good moves so far? West Ham are doing alright and I know Shaqiri to Stoke didn't go through but thinking of that too.

I checked Transfermarket to see who Roma have as LB's. Last season they used:

Ashley Cole - dropped mid way through the season
Jose Holebas - replaced Cole but has been sold to Watford
Federico Balzaretti - injured for most of the season and has been released

So Baba would have Crescenzi who's been on loan since forever and Ashley Cole as his competition. So basically Baba will be first choice LB.

Maybe something was lost in translation and they mean "the only OTHER club"

Madrid propaganda. Trying to exert power over the situation
Yea, it's just such a poor and obvious attempt.

Madrid is making the bill without the bartender so to say.

Yeah, even if they do buy that keeper they've been linked with I just can't get over how stupid it would be to sell casillas before negotiating for de gea. Shifts everything in our favour.

So stupid I find it hard to believe madrid would actually do it.
