I thought Darmian was flying in tonight but now it says he will have his medical on Friday? It probably doesn't matter much but I'm always cautious until we announce a signing, even though the coach stating it probably means it's done by now.

Hopefully we can get Schneiderlin in before the preseason tour but it is looking a little unlikely at the moment.

Müller is impossible to get.

Knowing Levy and Aulas, Kane or Lacazette will probably cost the same.

This window is the most important for LvG - he wants to win the PL next season and will do the necessary if he can, the club will back him, so one big surprise signing I would not rule out -even if it seems at this moment unlikely. He knows he won't win it with just Rooney and Wilson as back up. The 2 top players for each position will happen this window

Still. Ronaldinho and Eto'o were their best players and superstars, Valdes wasnt in that sense. He was a very good kepper, but not in the same lague in terms of popularity and superstar level. Probably all bullshit anyway.
 


Some insight on what's happening with Schweinstiger and also a mention about our meetings with bayern so far:

In a number of meetings with the Bundesliga club, they have pushed repeatedly for Thomas Muller's signature, but didn't make a concrete offer for his teammate. It's conceivable, however, that they're simply waiting for a definitive answer from the player before a possible deal can be advanced. There are plenty of rumours swirling around but you won't find anyone in Munich professing to actually know what Schweinsteiger is thinking because he himself seems caught in two minds.

Yeah, remember when he (or was it the other chairman, David Gold?) announced the signing of Pedro Obiang by posting a picture of Ogbonna in an Italy shirt. He might be a bit of a muppet but I doubt he would randomly confuse the two. Must have been negotiating with him back then as well.

Jovetic leaving as well. Be interesting to see who we'd go for if/when both Jovetic and Dzeko leave. We'd have Bony and Aguero but would definitely need another striker. Higuain has been mentioned recently but I'd rather keep Dzeko to be honest.

That would be quite a stunt to pull, They signed Obiang a month ago, I doubt they were sure they'd get him back then

No, I don't mean they knew they were signing him, but it's plausible Gold was speaking to or considering Ogbonna at the same time they signed Obiang, hence why he must have searched the wrong name on Google or whatever.

As difficult as it is to believe it is plausible.. Gold and his son are muppets from what i've seen on twitter.
