We can't get one of the other seeded teams like Valencia, Leverkusen or Sporting. The highest coefficient teams that we could possibly face are Shakhtar, Ajax, CSKA, Club Brugge and Monaco but they could easily get knocked out in the previous round. All we can do is wait and see what happens.But but we could get Valencia ?

Hope he has a good spell and makes the move permanent or finds a good club. He might have had a chance here but that injury really set him back.
We seem to have a good relationship with Preston. As a part time Preston fan this pleases me.
As far as RVP is concerned we saved £13m in wages this season, for Nani £5.2m, if nobody was after them then you take what you're offered or decline however the amount we have freed up now can be put towards further transfer fees and wages.
Woodward is negotiating the financial side of things, the board aren't going to give us a limitless supply of cash, they will have in mind an approximate budget and probably see the RVP deal as good business in regards to operating within that Budget.
We did well to get a fee for RVP considering his wages.
That wouldn't be much of a deal - his wages are bigger than the reported fee. We'd be losing money to rid ourselves of a player who's still, after all, a quality striker.
