Any chance Gotze leaves? He (apparently) had a mediocre season for Bayern but I do think he's world class, would be an excellent buy. Also, hope he doesn't go to Arsenal, seems like the sort of player that would be perfect for them.

The three came during his presidency. Di Maria came for some deal Mourinho- Mendes. In the case of Ozil , Real Madrid demanded Mourinho to play at least with one creative midfielder , what in Spain is called "media punta" , but actually I have no idea if was a direct request.
I think the problem with Bale is that was labeled as galáctico .If he had cost 50 million instead 100 and had not been given the lead role , then probably there would be no problem in getting rid of him

A bit surprised City released Guidetti tbh. Heard he was great at the u21 Euros.

Nah. But he's not ready for the PL. Also, when did City give a proper chance to a home grown trained at the club? This might come back to bite me
Aside from the fact he just isn't good enough for a top PL side, he was already speaking to clubs in January over his contract expiring because it was clear City had no intent to renew it and likewise he knew he was best off elsewhere. I don't see how anybody can claim it to be an exclusive when he's already said in interviews he's a free agent.
Had a fantastic season at Feyenoord and then got a virus which kept him out for a year. He's done well to come back at Celtic and did well for U21's too, Feyenoord have been trying to sign him but he's got offers from bigger clubs. Could still become a great player imo, bit of a cnut though.
Given the performances of Fernando last year, one could argue the sentence makes perfect sense.
