Absolutely despise both the big Spanish clubs , I have no idea how you can be allowed to buy players when you have a transfer ban. Yes I know all about the technical stuff like it's a registration ban and shite but in the end every one knows that this is just the case of a big club using a technicality to beat the system

But they won't, basically we have two teams who don't want to lose face over this, just RM are in a stronger position than us and they know it, reckon we'll get £18 m with add ons maybe taking it to £23-£24 m, and we won't get any of their players.

At the start no I didn't , but the last six weeks gave me some hope we were going to do a job on them, but alas it probably won't happen.
Next year we could very well be top earners in the world, and we really need to knock them down a peg or two at some point to ram that advantage home.
That's what I was expecting at the start of the summer but not now. I think we've come too far to back down. I don't think we'll get any players but think we'll now get a decent fee, in terms of someone who has just a year of his contract left.

At the start of the summer a decent fee would have been £20 m +, now the only fee that would be palatable would be a world record for a keeper, but RM would look daft and bullied if they did it, so they won't.

There is a massive difference actually, the difference is at the selling club's angle though. Atletico wanted to sell him this summer,if Barca weren't going to be able to provide the money then there is no reason for them to have waited till January. Basically during this farcical ban they first got a respite through which they managed to sign players they needed urgently and this now allows Barca to sign for the future

There's nothing farcical about the ban. Nor was there anything wrong at its inception. It's just people making a big deal out of things because they want to make deal about things.
I don't think it's the with De Gea part of the deal that's the problem, it's more the for De Gea.
Still of the opinion De Gea isn't as set on a move as is being made out. I think he's probably happy with either scenario (provided United buy some players).
