Bad news for us if it happens because surely they won't get both Arda and Pogba? Then I can see City/Chelsea nabbing Pogba.
Barca are still in for him AFAIK. If there is a deal, he will join them next summer, which Juve probably are completely fine with.

I couldn't give two shits about some magazine that I will never read. I am talking from my experience as a united fan following the transfer stuff every season. It's not like they have become better at it? It's the same bollocks every season and there is no effort to make it easy for the people who actually read it aka the fans. Transfers have become more secretive? Well, that's your job as a journalist. At least get closer to the source as much as possible but majority of them make the most shittiest predictions(based on their "sources"). It has actually come to a point where, red cafe has evolved more quickly than these so called journalist. We know which tweets to neglect and which ones to take seriously. Same mediocre journalism every season, rinse and repeat. Can't believe they get paid for this crap.

Yeah, Arda being the Iniesta replacement & Pogba the Rakitic? (As harsh as that would be to Ivan). But yeah, it's football, anything can happen. Arda could end up on the bench, or as cover for the wings (if Pedro leaves).
Just think it's a bit overkill. Read interesting comments from Bartomeu saying the coach has identified a midfielder which they're after but he can't name yet (comments along those lines). Obviously comments hot on the heels of Laporta saying if he's elected as president, he'll bring Pigba with him. So Arda could well be the player Bartomeu was referring to.

Turan is very versatile, and their coach seems to love those kind of players. If he is indeed the midfielder Luis Enrique wanted, it'll be interesting to see how he fits in their team.

But yeah, if you gave me the choice of any midfielder for United, I'd probably go with Verratti. The prices and wages for Pogba are mind boggling. He might reach those levels someday but not at the moment.

Well he belongs to Mendes so shady deals are normal. He's on a year loan with an option to buy next season. Mendes will probably give a discount to Atletico for taking the risk.
Maybe some clubs go the extra mile and do tests on 'extra' things or. Or some clubs are simply more risk averse when deciding what's the pass/fail point. I have no idea really, because I'd have thought that clubs would use the same tests and use standard requirements that players must meet.
I genuinely thought something big was going to happen today. I feel as though our business will be waiting until August. Can't see anything happening now before the tour, and we won't do any business during it.
