Milan lost the plot with regards to old players a long time ago. They put all their faith in Meersseman and his Milan labs on keeping older players performing past their prime and it's been a disaster. He literally thinks that the majority of players can play at the top level until they are pushing 40 despite all evidence to the contrary.
