France Football report that PSG are interested in Borussia Dortmund's Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. Former Saint-Etienne man valued at €25m.

@MirrorAnderson
Am told by someone who knows that Liverpool are not interested in Inter Milan's Mateo Kovacic.

Roberto Firmino's agent confirms that his client will move to England, but can't confirm his next club yet. Hoffenheim want about €30m.

I know UEFA have relaxed FFP rules but City can't possibly spend £82m on just one player with others also coming in without facing any sort of punishment?
They'll be getting some players off of their paylist (Milner, possibly Dzeko and a few others) and Pogba's fee would be ammortized over the length of his contract anyway - which I'd expect to be 5 years.

Peter Lim has apparently told VCF president Salvo they can’t let Otamendi leave for less than his €50m release clause. [plazadeportiva]

The reason behind club owner Lim’s stance is that Manchester United are a rich club and can afford it, so there’s no room for negotiation.

why wouldn't they ? They can't afford to spend £150 mill net - but if they sell - say Nasri, Dzeko (Milner already gone) and one or two more - then I don't see a problem

Depay, Gundogan, Otamendi & Firmino would be a great summer imo. Add a RB to that and we're good to go.

No striker? And I think we need more English players.

Real Madrid is viewed as an example for every body, a bright club, the shining star .... and they have only 3 spanish in their team.

I would like to have more British player a United, but I'm sorry, which one of them can improve us ?

Harry Kane and Clyne.

Depends, do you mean English players in general or English players we could realistically sign?

Cahill
Clyne
Stones (potential)
Kane
Berahino (potential)
Sturridge (City/Chelsea/Liverpool reject, that would be fun, would still be a good addition to our squad though, injuries aside)

We already have:

Jones
Smalling
Shaw
Carrick
Rooney
Young
Wilson
Blackett

Surely we are far beyond the quota?

Kane had 1 good season. Would love for him to have a 2nd season and then move. See Andy Carroll for reference.

Clyne I'm not convinced on. Had a poor 2nd half of the season. I wouldn't mind him though.
Kane was levels above anything Andy Carrol ever was.

Looking at the list of English players, most aren't exactly world beaters. In fact rather underwhelming.

True but they would still improve us in the positions.

Smalling & Cahill at CB could be a solid partnership given Jonese injury record. Then there is Stones who has the potential to be a top CB.
Clyne would be an immediate improvement on Valencia at RB.
Kane last season and Sturridge in 13/14 would be huge additions to the squad. Berahino, like Stones has the potential.

I hope we don't pay the release clause as it'll set a precedent. United always seem to have to pay top dollar. I'd rather go for someone else if they make us pay that much for Otamendi. Not because it's a lot of money as we can afford it, but because otherwise other clubs will follow Valencia. Note Madrid, Bayern and Barca don't get fleeced with their transfers; why should we?
