It’s a disaster of an announcement
A shame. Definitely not ready but he was the only other midfielder we had who could play as a 6.
He's an 8 for me, doesn't have the discipline to be a DM.Can Mainoo not do it at all?

Yeah probably right, convinced we aren't even interested but do you think Lavia could
Yes that's the problem with young midfielders in that position. Very steep learning curve.Lavia at least twice (that I remember) gave the ball away just outside his own box after Soton tried to play their way out from the box. I assume this is as a matter of experience, so I would assume he can learn it - but if he was ours, I would not like to see him receive the ball 20 yards out facing goal - under pressure.
It could have been worse. We could have announced the signing tomorrow.
Maybe make him play the pianoThis transfer has been in the making for month's, and this is the best our marketing team could come up with??? My kids could have done better than this.... important thing is we got the player!!

Personally Ithik he will be Casemiro's long term replacementi agree that currently his best position is 8 but don’t you think he could develop deeper?
I’ve found it noticeable that he has played deepest in midfield in both games so far. I’m sure he has played number 4 for England and youth teams too.
Loan with an obligation to buy for 2.1m in 2026Wonder how much they value Elanga at? I’m guessing something shite like £5m.
No Forest, you are BUYING Deano no more loans. He doesn’t have a future here.
Good news! Another £4m in the kitty!
Tier 3:
He would never say anything else until Maguire was full sold.Ok now Ten Hag is just trolling at this point
